Introduction
Executive Summary
The case study is based on analyzing the communication plan on improving
the public health informatics of Country Public. This report provides assessment of
the current project communication plan and compares assessment with the project
management practices. This report analyses the strategic plan of Country Health
Department (CHD) to increase capabilities for the program evaluation as well as
response towards communicable disease outbreaks [8]. It also recommends a
communication plan for the future project which involves stakeholders from various
sectors such as unions, government agencies, contractors and others.
Background of the study
In County Health Department (CHD), the senior managers are identified to
recover informatics capacity as significant step towards meetings with the
organizational project goals. CHD has healthcare information systems to track
information for allocated works. A communication plan is required in the
organization for improving informatics systems which are able to track infectious
diseases plus report investigations in proper way [8]. The project manager can
deliver related information to the stakeholders on daily base. The project
communication management is implemented into the organization so that it
provides the stakeholders with information related to the project [5]. The
communication plan provides specific project related information, what information
is delivered and communication channels used to deliver the information to external
and internal stakeholders.
1. Report on the current communication plan
The communication plan which is adopted into the project is not much
realistic in terms of communicating with the project stakeholders. With
implementation of new healthcare system, reporting of infectious diseases and
future outbreaks can do in timely fashion. The communication plan plays a key role
