P2 Produce a project management plan.
For beginning any project there is a brief outline which is created in advance so as to
know the exact direction one should start its operations from. The project management plan
helps in getting the outline as well as the information about the project and the factors which
have an impact n the project. It also defines the roles and responsibilities . In the beginning the
project looks simpler but as we proceed in the project, it gets complex and to understand this
complexities a project management plan is required. It has five phased as follows-
ï‚· Project Conception- In the first stage the concept of the project is stated by the project
manager (Stark,2105). It gives a brief idea about what the project is all about and also it
carefully examines the factors which determine whether the project will turn out
profitable or not. It also gives a realistic idea about the project in the real life. All the
feasibility tests are done during this stage only after conceptualization only the entire
project can be worked out. As without the actual idea of the plan.ï‚· Project Planning- A project planning stage, the draft plan is drafted and the entire project
plan will go accordingly. Planning is the essential stage of the project management plan
as it drafts the background of activities to be performed as this is the base of the project
and the team members. The plan is developed which considers all the factors affecting
the project. Ch includes the cost, duration, time taken, quality of work, risk involved and
the resources utilized (Hwang, 2014). In the planning phases itself all the risks associated

with the project are clearly identified and the necessary steps are taken to work on the
project. At this itself, the project manager should prioritize the project and accordingly
allocate the budget and defining the necessary resources required for doing the same.ï‚· Project Execution- For executing the project firstly a project team is formed and the
work is divided among the team members and they are informed about their
responsibilities and the main work of execution depends on them when the
responsibilities are identified then only they can perform the work properly. According to
the efficiencies of the workers and employees the wok is allocated two them as if proper
allocation is not done then the work may not be performance according to the set
standards and will not deliver the appropriate quality results.. A project is considered
good for execution if it has followed the plan drafted before. This phase allows us to
know the if the project will be successful or not.ï‚· Project Control- In this stage, when the work is getting executed it is the responsibility of
the project manager to check whether the work is performed according to the set
objectives or not. If not performed accordingly, then the necessary steps are taken to
monitor the work and taking various corrective measures if it is not according to the
scheduled plan (Kerzner, 2013). As the standards are set and the actual work is allocated
and performed then the actual work is compared to the standard work and the deviations
are known and the corrective measures are taken to control the same. The main factors
are the time taken to complete the work and the cost involved in doing the project. If
changes are necessary then actions are taken accordingly like the schedule can be
changed.
ï‚· Project Close- This is the final phase of the project management plan where the project is
closed formally but with many more things are also to be done like the project has to be
delivered and the project manager has to ensure that the client has approved the project as
well. With that the resources which are taken are to be relieved as well and the team
members should be rewarded for the work done and the final termination of the
contractors as well. The final closure is not attained until the project is completed and
executed formally and the client is satisfied with the results if he is not satisfied this does
not act as a project closedown. When the client is happy with the results then that
highlights the success of the project and also a milestone in the project history.

highlights the success of the project and also a milestone in the project history.
In determining the current success of the project, the main work is of the project manager
as he created the rough draft of the project plan and he estimates the cost requirement, the
duration of the project, the risks involved in the project and specifying the appropriate resources
which will be required to execute the project. The current project talks about the CSR activities
and their role in improving the sustainability of the Nisa Ltd, which aims at focusing on the
overall business operations (Kerzner, 2013). The project manager works at allocation of proper
work according to the worker's ability to do the work as per their efficiencies.
P3 Produce a work breakdown structure.
The Project Breakdown Structure is basically divided into three broad categories
Planning, Implementation and the project close down which are further divided according to the
work each category has to perform. The Planning stage involves the selection the the research
topic and then develop the problem statement as without that the project can't proceed any
further and the time duration for the allocation of the resources. The next stage is of the
implementation which involves choosing the various literature and methodologies to perform the
work and comes the cost calculations and lastly involves the evaluation of the outcomes
(Kerzner, 2014). The last stage is of the project closing which involves the concluding state and
involves the delivery of the project to the client before the final evaluation done by the project
manager.
