INTRODUCTION
Project management is an effective practice of initiating, formulating, planning, execute,
control and modify the plan to achieve goals and objectives of the company in an effective and
efficient manner. This is an effective measure to achieve goals on time and deliver information
with clear analysis of activities (Joslin and Müller, 2015). New product will be developed and it
involves proper research, manufacturing and marketing of new canned products by effectively
developing new range of premium soups. This will help in effective application of knowledge,
skills and techniques which aids to meet the project requirement effectively and efficiently on a
timely manner. This study will include strategy to launch new product into the market using
PESTLE analysis. It will also highlight, human resource management in the organization with
work breakdown structure (WBS). It also includes, stakeholders planning and effective tools for
risk management which leads to higher productivity. The project management will help in
accessing quality, standards, success and failure of the plan. Furthermore, present report will
cover stakeholder analysis, management activities and practices by applying AGILE and
PRINCE 2 activities. It will also highlight and analyse future of project management and how it
will lead to sustainable growth and development of the business.
Quattro foods is a bespoke manufacturing company who provide high quality food
products to the customers ranging from various products. It mainly deals in wholesale, catering,
retail and food services.
MAIN BODY
Project context
The main scope of this project is it helps in developing new product range which is
beneficial for the development of wide range of products. It helps in developing wide range of
canned soups which will attract large number of customers.
Broccoli and Cheddar soup is healthy and wholesome range of soup which is provided in
Quattro foods company. It is filled with lots of nutrients and key ingredients are broccoli and
cheddar cheese. It is delicious, healthy and mouthwatering. Other flavor planned to be
developed by Quattro foods company is Mexican Soup which is outrageously delicious and
includes kidney beans, chickpeas and vegetables for more healthy sop which rejuvenate the
individual experience and is loaded with lots pf proteins. Another range of soup developed by
Quattro foods company will be Radish Soup with Tofu Miso Cream which includes radishes,

celery, spring onion, vegetable stock with packaged luscious cream made of honey, orange juice
and tofu.
The key scope of developing this project is that it new range of canned soups will help
Quattro foods company in developing the new range of soups which helps in attracting wide
range of products by effectively delivering high quality products to the customers at economical
price. Developing wide range of soups which are healthy and tasty helps in effectively attracting
large range of customers by delivering canned soup through retail store, wholesale, shops and
online delivery. This helps in higher market share and higher customer base. This product
development will lead to higher profitability for the company by delivering wide range of soup
to the end customers effectively and efficiently. The main scope of developing new products
helps in Quattro food company in effectively diversifying the range of soups by manufacturing
new flavours which are tasty and healthy (Gray And et.al., 2008).
Rationale
The main reason behind choosing this range of soup helps in effectively evaluating,
expanding and diversifying the current range of products by improving the quality and services
of the product for higher market share and profitability of the business. This study is conducted
because it helps in delivering new range of soups and it helps in identifying the behaviours and
preference of the customers. This research will help in identifying the market and also analyses
the competitors that are offering same range of products. This study will also help in effectively
diversifying the products which are already their in the market for higher market share and
maintaining a competitive advantage. This study will help in analysing the prices offered by the
competitors. This helps in analysing the major advantage and set prices accordingly. It will help
in analysing the market trends, taste and preference where they can attract large customers who
are willing to buy their products at an economical price.
Reason behind selecting this products is to gain insight of the current market where the
product is going to be launched and what ingredients will be required to manufacture particular
product. This study will effectively evaluate the cost and budget to manufacture particular range
of soup products. It also helps in evaluating the resources which are used to produce new range
of products in a cost efficient manner and achieve economies of scale (Kerzner and Kerzner,
2017). This study will effectively evaluate the tools, human resource, financial resource and
natural resource used to manufacture the products by using the best ingredients for highest

quality of goods. The main reason behind choosing this product is that it helps in delivering
varied range of soups to the end customers which leads to higher operational standards and long
term sustainable growth and development of the business which eventually helps in achieving
organizational goals and objectives.

It helps in defining the work allocation, structure and proper distribution of resources
which helps in carrying out the project with utmost accuracy and efficiency. There are various
project management techniques which includes Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, PRISM, Critical path
method, Critical chain project management, Prince 2, integrated project management, etc.

the working of the Quattro food manufacturing company. Political: Political factors like change in government policies, rules and regulations
which are imposed by various regulatory bodies. Free trade agreement and low labour

business. Proper labelling like use of ingredients, veg, non- veg, precautions and allergic
note must be mentioned on the canned soup. Change in health policies, import and export

health consciousness, lifestyle attitude, cultural barriers, cultural trends, customer buying
trends and organizational image. Food manufacturing company put more emphasis on
healthy lifestyle, increase cultures and social trends, preference with varied cultural

diversity (Hillson, 2017). Increase in healthy lifestyle helps Quattro food manufacturing
company in attracting large number of customers of all demographics, culture and beliefs.
Customers preference towards clean and healthy food helps food manufacturing company
in introducing new product range in soup which are healthy and low in calorie. Company
should focus on adapting to various cultural trends which in turn results in reaching large
number of customers across the globe. Technological: Technological factors includes level of innovation, change in technology,
research and development activity, technological awareness, technology maturity,
distribution of goods and services, increased training and copyright infringements.
Technology is changing at a faster pace and are becoming obsolete very quickly.
Integration and adoption of new and advanced technology helps in higher operational
efficiency, performance and productivity of the business. This leads to lower operational
cost ad helps in achieving goals at lower cost. It helps in delivering high quality goods to
the customers by effectively adapting to newer and innovative technology. Online
delivery of goods helps food manufacturing company to cater large number of audience
which leads to higher profit margins. Environmental: Environmental factors like environmental legislations, decline in
availability of resources, increase in pollution and green house gas. Quattro food
manufacturing company must focus to protect the environment by optimally utilizing the
resources which leads to higher profit margins and higher sustainable growth of the
business (Meredith and Mantel Jr 2011).
 Legal: Legal factors like health and safety laws, food quality standards, nutrition
standards and various other food regulations. Adherence and compliance with packaging
laws, distribution laws, waste management laws, marketing regulations and sales
regulations helps in smooth functioning of food manufacturing company which leads to
higher profitable margins and growth. They must also maintain hygiene while
manufacturing such products and maintain quality for long term sustainable growth of the
business. Mentioning allergy notice and giving proper guidelines about the ingredients
