INTRODUCTION
Performance management refer to the formation and management of a proper project
which include different set of activities which can be performed within a specific time in an
efficient and effective manner. It involves the management of different resources for a
particular project where objectives can be achieved. In this report there is a particular project
which is related to formation of a mobile application (Kerzner, 2017). This mobile
application is formed for QAHE Roehampton University London for managing a timetable
for extracurricular activities for the students. This report is divided into two parts part 1
consists of project initial document which include the budget breakdown and stakeholder
analysis table. It also includes the work breakdown structure, critical path analysis and its
national a diagram of WBS.

background
It is identified and recognised by the University staff that student are
always busy in their time table classes so they have no time for extra
curriculum activities which are going outside the time table for scheduled
classes these activities are related to their personal development as well as
development of different skills among the students. University recognised
that it's it is important to develop the knowledge about these clubs in
societies where it is difficult to contact the representatives from them to
provide information about the clubs in society to students. So, for
development of this ability and identifying the students about the extra
curriculum activities organisation have arranged recreation mobile phone
app which will provide day-to-day details to QAHE Roehampton
University London, clubs and societies event as well as different
information to the students by providing them information about events
and help them in suggestion of these information.
Project
deliverables
Project deliverables are those tangible and intangible goods or services
which are produced within the project and that are intended to deliver to
the customers are the beneficiary search to that particular project. In this
current project the key deliverables are mentioned below:
Mobile application: major key deliverables in this project is mobile
application that is developed to provide information about extracurricular
activities which are going in outside clubs and societies.
Paperwork: paperwork is also delivered to the beneficiaries of this project
in the end of the project consist of all elements considered in this project
as well as findings and Facts related to the project.

Infrastructure: infrastructure is also available after completing the project
and it will also delivered to different stakeholders as it provide
information about the key considerations within the project as well as
shelter to the team of the project.

In the current project scope can be determined to those characteristics of
the project which will help it incompletion or it can be said the objectives
of the project.
Current project the major scope of the project is to increase the awareness
about the application which is used to form for providing information
regarding activities of clubs and societies situated in the university or near
the university which will develop the extracurricular activity and skills
within the individuals by performing these activities.

Key risk Risk analysis important part of project management as there are various
risk associated with the project which have to be considered by the team
who is fulfilling the objectives and needs of the project. The stress can
directly affect the performance of the project as well as outcomes which
will come after the completion of the project. A project team must be
clearly identified all the risk associated with the project and try to reduce
them by considering different guidelines as well as feedback from
different stakeholders.in the current project of developing an application
there are various risk which are described below:
Human risk: all team members are not a perfect software developer it can
act as interest within this project to involve those persons who doesn't
have any experience about the software development. This can act as a
negative impact on the project.
Technological risk: there is various technologies involvement within the
development of particular software or an application. For example, does it
suit to every version of the mobile phone used by different students. This
can act as a risk within this as team have to clearly identify the proper use
of software and application where every individual within the university
can use it.
Finance risk: financial risk is also important risk within this project as
company have to use the proper financing technique where they can easily
manage all the finance. Budget of the project in low which is not
sufficient to fulfil the entire requirement so clearly manage the entire fund
in accordance with the application development where they will not
become insolvent.

factors
There are various success factors within this project which will make it
easier for the team.
 Proper planning of the project as well as management.
 Clearly identification of risks as well as determination of different
policies related to production of these risks.
 Clearly allocation of budget to each and every activity within the
project
 Full concert of stakeholders is taken by providing adequate
information to eat stakeholder.

constraint
These are those variables which cannot be controlled by the project team
as well as we have direct impact on performance of different activity
within the project. In current project all key constraint are described
below:
Time
Time is the main constraints in this project as there is not a sufficient time
within this project so it is difficult for the team to manage the time but
they have to manage it because it is direct impact on their performance as
well as delete there project which can impact negatively on the finance as
well as other activities. For managing time team have a proper plan which
will reduce the negative impacts of time as company divided all these
activities and proper manner where they can easily tackle with the time.
Policies
University policies are also key constraint within this. Hear the whole
team managers and clearly identify all the policies which are formed
within the university related to which type of projects. These policies
student also maintain a proper plan which will help them in execution of
their different activities by combining the policies of university.
Quality
Quality is also factor which cannot be controlled by the team members
because of low time as well as policies of the university but they have to
control it for getting successful achievement of different objectives of the
project. Here team can use different type of policies which will help them
in meaning the quality of their application as well as increase the
performance for satisfying the needs of students.
Budget breakdown
For building application and performing all requirements, the total budget is allowed
about 2 lakh Euros. Budget is provided by oh to the one of director from the student. For
using the budget the proper budget breakdown structure is discussed below (Meredith,
Mantel and Shafer, 2017).

Definition of Work Breakdown Structure, as well as its importance in a project
A work breakdown structure can be define as a project management or a system
engineering which will help organisation in delivering and orienting The breakdown of the
project into the smaller components (Heagney, 2016). Work breakdown structure is that he
project deliverables which help in identifying the teamwork and dividing in into the
managerial sections. The project management body of knowledge define the work breakdown
structure or that decomposition of the total scope of work to be carried out by the project
team to accomplish the permanent project objectives and creating the deliverables.
Importance of work breakdown structure

 It helps in creating and measuring the independent where it reduces the activities
referred as well as improve the collection of data.
 it also assign the cost to each task because work down break structure make the task
which are measurable and help in identifying the specific route for each task where
cause division is necessary (Marchewka, 2016).
 Track the progress of structure for project as well as guided schedule.
 Define a proper score for a project where one key function of the project management
can be easily defined with the scope of project (Kerzner, 2018).
Definition of Critical Path Analysis and its rationale
A Critical path analysis method or critical path analysis logarithm of a particular
scheduling in a set of project activities, It is generally used in conjunctions with the program
evaluation and review technique, where the critical path is determined by identifying the
different and longest stretch of dependent activities and measuring the time required to
complete these activities from the beginning to the end (Young, 2016).
Rational
This includes the simple steps which are mentioned below:
Step 1: listing all the activities in a single plant, where all the activities are arranged within
the earliest start date and estimating the length of time taken within each activity.
Step 2: plots the activities as a circle or in arrow diagram. This will help in critical path
analysis which will directly related to the circle for arrow diagram where the circle through
the event of the project as well as finishing of the task and the arrow shoes the flow of task
from one period to another (Portny, 2017).
