1. Definition of project management
According to Kerzner (2017), project management is defined as the practice of initiating,
executing, controlling as well as closing the entire work of the project for achieving the project
goal so that the success criteria of the project can be achieved at the time that is specified in the
planning phase.

background
The paper mainly reflects on the organization “QAHE Business
Management Faculty” that has mainly designed a new degree in
sustainable business which further focuses on ethical as well as
different types of environmental based business issues. The business
faculty have secured proper funding in order to support trip of two
week to see some of the interesting as well as sustainable projects in
Uganda that further intends in March.

Methodology It is found that waterfall methodology is mainly used for organizing
the trip successfully.
Purpose The business management faculty wants to focus on environmental
business issues and therefore they arrange a trip to see some
important sustainable projects in Uganda.
Objectives The objectives include:
Specific: To arrange a trip for the bachelor students of second
semester in order to reflect sustainable projects in Uganda.
Measurable: The trip was organized for 30 students who are
pursuing the course in order to see some interesting projects in
Uganda.
Attainable: The project team members will work effectively to
complete the trip within the budget £60,000.
Realistic: The programme convener generally asked for help for
successfully organizing the trip in place of dissertation as the faculty
has designed a new degree course.
Time: The trip must take place in March for the students of 2nd
semester.
In scope The scope includes:
