The success of an organisation depends on the way organisation is able to serve its customers. So it is vital for Car Giant to develop, evaluate and launch the customer relationship management database. This report defines the roles and characteristics of project manager. Various frameworks that justify the application of project. A project management plan is formulated in this report. Also it is important monitor project quality, risk configuration and change is also mentioned in this report. MAIN BODY What do you mean by a project, role and characteristics of the project manager. Project can be defined as sequence of activities that are completed to attain desired outcome. Project management refers to managing the set targets to accomplish them. The objectives of project management can be accomplished by following all the steps of project. The project is based on CRM database in Car Giant(Özkan and Mishra, 2019). It is important to understand the needs and wants of customers and collect the data related to customers. Interpretation of that data helps to formulate strategies for effective customers management. Characteristics of Project Clear start and end date:It is important to specify a start date and ending date so that the project is completed in time. If it is clear in beginning the team is able to complete the project timely. This will help in project management of CRM in Car Giant. To evaluate the collected data effectively it is important to know about the start and end date. A project creates something new:Here the aim is to start something new. Every project is unique and have different aims. The project is never repeated in the same way. Here in this case project management plan related to customer relationship management of database. It helps to collect the data related to customers and their needs and wants.

Along with that to attract potential customers. Planning:One the project has been started and objective of the project is decided. The next step is planning. The better the plan will be formulated it will be easier for the organisation to accomplish it successfully. Every thing relating to budget, risk, timelines is decided by the project manager in this stage. The project manger of Car Giant plans everything in advance so that they are able to collect and develop the data effectively and in time. That will support the further strategy formulation by the organisation. Executing:As planning is done the next important step is to execute the plan.
