This research project focuses on the impact of leadership and management in the research and development department of consumer goods manufacturers, with a case study based on Tesco. It explores the concept of leadership and management, their importance in the R&D department, challenges faced by leaders and managers, and ways to overcome these challenges. The research design and methodology include interpretivism research philosophy, deductive research approach, descriptive research design, primary and secondary data collection, thematic data analysis, and simple random sampling. The project plan includes a Gantt chart, and risk management is addressed through a RAID log.
