Week 2 IT Project
This project is simply a way of having constant connection to a database, which
has information about multiple location apartment complexes. The system allows 24/7
access to maintenance, rent, and tenants information. Each location maintains their own
information put in by assigned managers at the given location. Data can therefore be
observed at corporate and utilized for any reporting functions.
The system will be as simple as possible and the following will be the backbone
of the construction, implementation, and control of this database:
1. Project Manager- Joe Ruiz
2. Web Master- Michael Rachal
3. IT Support/Help Desk- Eric Daniels
4. Net Security/Help Desk- Stephanie Adams
We didn’t really need to take in a lot of personnel since the required database was such a
small task and utilizing it only called for a handful of key members. With obtaining
multifaceted employees we were able to give them more than one hat as some may say.
Took keep pricing at the lower end of the spectrum, I went with a website that
assists in the building of the online database which I found necessary for the given
requirements. The site I chose was intuit, which all you do is give them specifications to
what you are wanting and they assist with building your database. The cost is roughly
around $300/month and they additionally can assist with support along with our in-place
team members. As for any other deliverables I will say there will be monthly webinars
that managers can attend to get information about the database. These webinars will be

created by the IT sections and posted on the database website for anytime access by
location managers. All technical reports will be reviewed and gathered by the web master
and they are solely to keep him up to date on functionality of the site.
All reference material or needed items can be found on the main intuit the help
desk personnel can send site and any additional items.
