INTRODUCTION
Every organization success is wholly based upon an effective and impressive leadership
who encourages company to adapt all opportunities so that they can achieve their goal effectively
without any hindrances. However, leaders defines an important role within an enterprise as it
helps them to acquire best positioning among competitive industry in a productive way. In
simple terms, leadership is an ability or capability of an individuals who takes an initiative to
inspire, influence, encourage their followers in order to make an increment in the productivity
and profitability of the organization within a prescribes time limit (Ingebrigtsen and et.al 2014).
On the other hand, a good ethics also go hand in hand with fair leadership skill which enable
management to provide better working condition and also high level of employee satisfaction
which improves the overall performance of company in a good way. This report is classified into
three division in which first task is based on Woolworth Group Ltd, it is one of the leading
supermarket in Australia and it is established in the year of 1924. Under this, it covers influence
of ethics, legislation over business growth and development, various leadership style, overview
of Woolworth Group Ltd mission and vision statement. The second task involves Toyota
company profile in which it requires a preparation of seminar in which explains organization
mission statement to its employees in order to attain productivity. Finally, the third task is based
on Garden of Eden in which it asked to solve some cases by providing better solution is also
mentioned here.
TASK A
1 Importance of good ethics and its impact over business growth
Ethics is a discipline which defines what is good and bad for individuals and society in order
to maintain a best relationship with each other. In other words, the definition of business ethics
can be provided as the values and beliefs followed by the organization at the time of operating
their business in the society. However, it is regarded as an important factor within business
functions or operation as morals concerns an single chaste judgment about right and wrong
(Klettner, Clarke and Boersma, 2014). Decision taken in an enterprise may be implemented by
personnel or groups, but whoever makes them they will be influenced by culture of firm. A
individual behaving ethically are their morals which guides them about the direction to move,
superior or subordinated both must decide what they think is right course of action which help

them to add value to the firm brand image in a productive manner. However, Woolworth Group
Ltd leadership builds on foundation of ethical behavior, it helps them to create long lasting
positive effect for firm, including the capability to attract or inspire, retain highly talented
personnel and building or maintaining a positive reputation within the business operation or
people. Henceforth, a good ethics is an integral component for the growth of Woolworth success
as it impact them in various ways which are explained below:
Create better relationship between leader and personnel: The Operations in a
business when operated in an ethical form will help the company to farther generating
firmness inside an establishment for a longer period of time (BeadleBrown, Bigby and
Bould, 2015).
Enhance employee performance: A lack of ethics within Woolworth business
operation, it directly influence over manpower performance which decreases company
productivity and profitability ratio. On the other hand, a fair ethical working environment
empower leader or manger to provide enormous platform which motivate each workforce
to put their full contribution towards an attainment of maximization of profit as well as
increased market share.
Enrich company credibility: This aspect is relate with firm reputation or brand image
among competitors and industries which improve company overall performance.
However, when an organization follows good ethics within their business function it
reflect on enlargement of market size as well as generate positive attitude among
customer that add value to Woolworth reputation. Apart from this, it creates a strong
relationship among internal or external business environment which lead an
establishment to gain competitive advantage and also obtain sustainable proficiency.
Therefore, it has been signified that leadership and ethics should go by joining hand together as it
enable Woolworth Group Ltd to make good relationships in the business as well as the
organization can tackle with all unethical practices in order to protect organization from
unsupportive message, impacting negatively on the sales of the company increasing the
government intervention (Cunningham, Seaman and McGuire, 2016).
