ESSAY PLAN
The current essay is based on the topic of qualitative research methods in the social science.
Qualitative research is essential in gathering of detailed information about the topic. There are
various methods that helps in gathering qualitative data such as case study, interview etc.
Interview is useful in gathering information from the respondents. Along with this, case study is
useful is gathering secondary information from various sources i.e. articles, journals, magazines
and many more. All these are main sources and facilitate investigator in accomplishment of
research aim.
Aim: Main aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of qualitative research
methods in social science.
Objectives:
 To identify the qualitative research methods.
 To examine the advantages of qualitative research in social science.
Along with this, thematic analysis is an analytical technique that is used for evaluating
qualitative data. This is an effective and essential technique because it not requires maximum
time and helps in completing full project in successful manner. There are different ethics i.e.
informed consent, confidentiality of the research participants, minimising the risk of harm etc.
