Executive summary
Main purpose of this report is to identify the effect of equal employment opportunity at
the workplace. In order to accomplish this purpose, there are number of tasks or activities
completed by researcher. In introduction part, researcher had developed research aim, objectives
and questions that results in achievement of valid outcomes. Literature review is effective and
useful activity that was done by collecting secondary data from various sources i.e. articles,
magazines, books, publication studies etc. These sources helped investigator in finding of
research gap and also fulfilment of this through research questions. Research methodology is
fundamental activity that was done by using questionnaire for collecting primary information
from the selected respondents about the topic. Results of the research was completed by using
frequency distribution analysis for evaluating quantitative information regarding the topic. This
section also includes number of graphs that have been made by researcher through Ms-Excel.
Discussion was done by interrelating of primary data with secondary data gathered for literature
review. Conclusion and recommendations was done by achieving research aim and objectives.
At last reflection was completed by explaining experience of researcher during conduction of
this research.

Methodology
Research methodology is significant part of the research report as it helps in gathering as
well as evaluating of data according to the topic. This sections of report includes different
methods, techniques, approaches etc. that will be described as below:
Research philosophy: This refers to the important process of gathering, analysing and
evaluating of qualitative and quantitative information through two types of philosophy such as
positivism and interpretivisim. Positivism philosophy is use for quantitative data, whereas
interpretivisim philosophy is follow for qualitative data. For performing present study over the
effect of equal employment opportunity at the workplace, positivism philosophy is useful
because it facilitate in collecting and analysing of quantitative data within allotted period of time.
Interpretivisim philosophy is not valuable for doing current study as it need qualitative data that
results in requirement of more sources (Arnold and et. al., 2016).
Research approach: Approach of the study will be use for analysing of quantitative and
qualitative information. For analysing such type of information, there are two approaches which
are called inductive and deductive. For analysing information regarding the equal employment
opportunities, deductive approach is more suitable because it helps in evaluating of quantitative
information that results in less time, valid outputs and larger sample size. Inductive approach of
study is not suitable within current project as it need data in form of qualitative that also require
more time of researcher (Guillaume and et. al., 2017).
Research strategy: This section of methodology will be used by researcher for collecting
primary as well as secondary data about the equal employment opportunities. There are various
strategies for data collection which are action research, experimental, case study, survey,
systematic literature review and so on. These are essential strategies but for carrying out present
investigation survey and literature review is use because it will help in gathering of primary and
secondary information. Survey is an effective strategy of primary data collection that will be
applied by researcher for achieving valid outcomes. Systematic literature review is use for
gathering of secondary information about the topic. Thus, within an investigation both types of
research strategies was used for gathering secondary and primary data (Herzberg, 2017).
Research choice: There are various choice of research from the researcher such as memo
choice. Mixed choice and multi-mixed choice. These are effective choice but for performing
present investigation, memo choice is more suitable because it helps in collecting and analysing

of one type of data which are qualitative or quantitative. According to the existing title or
research , quantitative choice of memo method is more valuable. This will help researcher in
collecting of numerical data within minimum time. Qualitative choice of memo method is not
used in this study because it require more time.
Time horizon: This is an important part of methodology because it helps in completion of
full project timely. There are two approaches of time horizon which are known as cross-sectional
and longitudinal. Both approaches of time horizon are important but for executing present
investigation, cross-sectional approach of time is more useful because it is based on actual
situation as well as helps researcher in completion of each task or activity of research project
timely and effectively (Imbert and Papp, 2015). Gantt chart is effective tool of time management
that was used by researcher for identifying time of completion of each activity. Gantt chart of
current study has been shown as below:
