Project Title
Redesign of Intranet
Background
SIGMA Consulting provides word-class consulting services to its clients to help them in
managing projects better and ensure success in their projects. However, SIGMA Consulting
wants to make information regarding quality project management available on their intranet
site so that it is easier for their clients to access those information from official intranet.
Therefore, some sections of the intranet needs to be modified so that it allows existing and
potential clients access some features of intranet specifically designed for sharing knowledge
regarding project management.
Project Goals
Some of the important goals of this project are the followings:
 To streamline business operations and enhance business process
 Enhance collaboration with clients by making knowledge sharing easier for not only
existing clients but for potential clients as well
 To reduce internal cost
Project Scope
This project will provide a redesigned intranet with some design modifications. A new
section will be added with this intranet and it will help in sharing knowledge regarding
consultants’ project management to people across this organization. This will also allow
clients of SIGMA Consulting to access this intranet and obtain project management
knowledge as well.
