REFLECTION ON HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION
The health care administration is a factor of the advocacy of the health care system in
the individual or public health care. On this context it can be said that my capstone
experience was the Infant Mortality Ratio advocacy and also implementing the proper health
policy that can be able to reduce the mortality rate among the African American infants. In
the following section we will reflect on the factor of the capstone education and the practical
experience.
The context of the Infant Mortality ratio I can state that the process of the health care
providence is inadequate as the health care disparity can be seen in this aspect. The process of
the health care should be provided with zero disparity in regard to the culture, race or
religion. Hence, on this context I can state that the factor of the health care in United States is
improper in terms of the maternal care providence among the African American people
(Kochanek et al., 2017). The context showed that the aspect of Infant Mortality is higher
among the African American community than the white people community and the probable
causes are lack of education, sedentary lifestyle, higher fat consumption, substance abuse and
also violence (Williams & Collins, 2016). On this context it can be stated that the health
education should be provided to the African American people especially the mothers. On the
other hand the health care professionals should be educated about the proper health care
providence and also eliminating the discriminations in regards to the race or culture. My
capstone and the academic program are based on this education program and also providing
the health insurance to the people of the community who are effected by the socio economic
conditions (Williams, Walker & Egede, 2016). On this context I can state that my capstone
and academic program is very much effective and also related to the exact problems of the
community health care. Hence, I can also find this aspect very much effective with my future
career progress as the education would be helpful in removing the health care disparities in
the system. On the other hand the ethical factors also help me in the process of the health care
