INTRODUCTION
An individual should involve in a process of their honest assessment in order to assess
their strengths and weakness with the help of self-reflection and introspection (Alonso-Belmonte,
2020). This will help them to analyze their skills and weaknesses to prepare an effective personal
development plan so that they can achieve success in their career life. Analyzing weaknesses will
help an individual to create an effective career and progression plan which will help them to
overcome their weaknesses. This reflective journal contains a proper assessment of my strengths
and weaknesses which has a great focus on my performance within my work life as I am
working as human resource manager in an organization which provides me several skills which
are essential for my improvement and are linked with the work based activities. I got feedbacks
which helps me to identify my strength and weaknesses so that I can achieve great success in my
professional life.

Evaluation of skills use by using Skills Audit (job descriptions, skills matrix review & immediate
skills gap analysis)
Skills Audit means a proper and appropriate analyze of knowledge and abilities of
research. Screenshot helps an individual to provide an evidence related to the current and
continuously increasing experience and expertise. It refers to evaluate any requirement regarding
the training and development of an individual to develop it skills in them. The job descriptions
provided below helps an individual and an organization to find suitable individual for the
company to fulfill their requirements and achieve their goals and objectives.

Skill Matrix and skills gap analysis

Skill Matrix refers to the process of an organization which helps them to evaluate several schools
of an individual so that their work can be completed in effective manner. Skill matrix includes
both types of capabilities for team members that is existing and developing capability (Bawaneh,
Moumene, and Aldalalah, 2020). There are six kind of skills matrix which helps an individual to
represent their performance and is given below:
Career & Progression Plan
I have prepared a proper career progression and succession planning which helped me to have
effective strategies for the human resource development in an organization which help me in my
long-term development and achievements. With the help of this career progression planning I
have find out several weaknesses such as my decision making power my communication my
listening skills and many more. In order to develop myself and my professional career it is
essential that I should take care of my weaknesses in order to enhance them so that I can be able
to grab more opportunities from the market and protect myself from threats available (Genua,
2021). I have firstly prepare a proper map regarding the preparation of my job interview and
career to pursue and enhance promotion prospects and my professional life. Which career

progression plan help me to get a position of a human resource manager and further will help me
to develop several skills required to achieve my goals and objectives.
Self-Appraisal & Action Planning
Development of an action plan helps an individual to bring the goals of their development
to their life so that they can be able to increase their efficiency in the organization. Action plan
help to identify the way company will be able to achieve their goals and objectives with the help
of several actions.

Skills Development Record & Work-based Feedback
Work-based Feedback: Work based feedback refers to the feedback provided to the employees as
well as manager related to their work in the organization either positive or negative. I also get
feedback related to my work for the purpose of enhancement of my capabilities. Feedback
provided by my seniors helps me to analyze my weak points and strengths so that I can able to
get several opportunities for my career and overcome from the threat in the real world. Feedback
in my workplace helps me to encourage my behavior in the organization to the positive. I also
provide work based in banks to the employees so that they can motivate themselves regarding
their positive and effective work and enhance themselves for their weakness in the organization.
Positive as well as negative impacts have their own importance in the life of an individual as
positive feedback provides motivation in the organization whereas negative feedbacks provide
weak areas to an individual so that they can be enhanced and an employee can became more
effective to achieve their career goals and objectives. There can be four kinds of feedback among
which first is the negative feedback which provides weaknesses in the previous work where as
another one is positive feedback which provide compliments to an individual regarding their
actions taken towards the goals and objectives of the organization. Another type of feedback is
the negative feed-forward and positive feedback that provide reaffirmation regarding future
behavior.

Skills development record helps to provide that work based feedback helps an individual
to analyze their strengths and weakness and develop their skills to get more effective career in
their professional life and keep themselves motivated by analysing the results of their work.
Reflection
Gibbs reflective cycle is an effective theory which has been provided to describe the reflection of
an individual regarding the skills they get from their practical experience (Unlu, and Kulekci,
2020). In order to enhance my skills, I also use Gibbs reflective cycle which is a cyclic model
helps me to identify various skills my profession gives me with several stages given below:

Description – an organization is required to several number of difficulties. One of those
difficulties in my organization is effective communication between employees which has
increases the employee turnover rate and affects the profitability of the organization. This has
created a difficult situation for me to manage the situation by providing a proper satisfaction to
the employees and enhance their skills regarding effective communication between them.
Feelings - I feel that it is very essential to consider the situation and take several important steps
for the effective performance of employees as human resource manager. The found out that I can
use several appropriate communication strategies in order to improve internal communication.
Evaluation - In order to take effective actions it is essential to evaluate the situation according to
the intended goals and objectives of the company and it has found out an effective
communication strategy which will help the company to maintain their internal communication
between employees (Wicaksono, Budiyono and Supriyono, 2020).
Analysis - I have used that in order to effective communication strategy I had used and
organizational theory which is effective for my future growth that is human relation theory. Bing
a member of human resource department it is essential for me to understand this query and I
have analyzed that I have effectively use this theory.
Conclusion - The steps taken by me regarding the effective communication between employees
helps me to conclude that I have experienced a good implementation of communication theory
and also use the principle of organization theory. Knowledge of these theories in practical world
will help me to have better and effective future in my work field.
Action plan - Apart from this there are several skills which are required for me to develop such
as good listening capacities and effective written communication and I have decided to make
some action plans for my career growth to achieve goals and objectives of the organization and
of me as an individual (Wicaksono, Budiyono and Supriyono, 2020).
CONCLUSION
The above discussion helps to analyze various skills which are present and individual as their
strength and several as their weaknesses. The career and progression plan helps me to have an
effective human resource strategy so that I can became an effective human resource manager.

Skills audit with the help of job description and skill Matrix review helps me to provide
description off the job and analyze several the skills of employees to fulfill the goals and
objectives of an organization. Action plan helps me to get effective skills required for my future
growth where skill development record in work with feedback helps me to motivate my working
and enhance my capabilities in various ways.
