INTRODUCTION
Reflective Account of Learning tend to describes and present the process where students
describe their learning, how it changed, and how it might relate to future learning experiences
(Sæbø & Midtsundstad, 2022). Thus, the reflective learning tends to supports and leads to
effective underdoing and creation of the knowledge based on the own learning experiences and
past activities. The current report comprises of reflection on the learning and development of
skills made during the studying and learning of introduction to business operation and
management module. Further, in current report the use of the Gibbs model of reflection is tend to
be made to support improved and systematic way of supporting and leading out reflection and
learning practises.
Main body
The current reflective learning tends to present and reflects about my learning and
experience that has bene during the first and second semester that comprise of a various topic
and module covered within the introduction to business operation and management concept. I
effective learning and underdoing about various function of the business operation comprises of
marketing, finance, human resource management along with leading effective strategy for
business operation has been made and learnt by me (Chatigny, 2022). Along with I also got an
improved opportunity to have better understanding and learning about various business
management decision and strategy formation about the supply chain, logistics, quality control
and other vital aspects of business management. Further, to have an improved and better
reflection about the learning and underdoing made on the topic of business operation and
management has been provided below along with the key findings and understanding gained
during the semester 1 and 2 with the help of the Gibbs reflective model. The use of Gibbs
reflective model has been made which was developed by Graham Gibbs in 1988 to give structure
to learning from experiences. The six vital stages that are being covered within the Gibbs model
of reflection are presented below in context of the semester 1 and how it have used learning to
improve outcomes of learning in semester 2:
Description- It comprises of the first stage where exploration of the situation on which
the reflection is made is tend to be provided and presented in a detail manner. The current
reflection tends to be made in my learning that has bene made during the semester 1 that is based

on gaining and getting better insight about the topics of business operation and management.
Along with this, the semester 1 tend to also provides a deeper and better understudying about the
key concepts of the effective operations of business strategy along with the developing
underdoing about the scope of the business management (Ridley & et. al. 2022).
Feelings- It tend to accounts for the second stage of Gibbs model that makes efforts and
comprise of the exploration of the feelings that has been gained and developed during an activity
and learning experience based on conducting of some semester of activity (Tanguay, 2022).
During the current semester I tend to have a very positive and enthusiasts feeling as it supported
the better development of the understanding and knowledge level of the business operation and
effective management based on taking proper decision making. While learning about the key
functions of the business operation I tend to have a feeling that finance operation forms a vital
part of every business organisation as it tends to support and leads out the better budgeting and
controlling on the wastages of resources (Arghode, Lakshmanan & Nafukho, 2022). Apart from
this, during the study of the first semester I also develop a exultant and positive feeling regarding
the function of the HR that comprises of effectively managing the employees along with
supporting proper management and training of employees. Thus, current semester is effective in
presenting and reflecting about the key aspects of various function of business operation along
with effective managerial decision that creates an enthusiastic and positive feeling within me.
Evaluation- This stage and tend to focus and comprise of the evaluation of key situation
and experience faced while undertaking and leading an activity and module. During the current
project I tend to learn that the Operations strategy are tend to includes and co of the plan that is
being created and developed by the management team of an organization to ensure and lead out
an effective way of allocate funding to the business. Apart from this, I had also learnt about the
key concept of effective operation strategy which includes of the leading out and ensuring the
proper Designing and Positioning the Production System along with leading a more focus and
emphasising towards the Focusing Production/ Manufacturing and Service Facilities (Liu, 2022).
Apart from this, it has been also seen that the main concoct and implication of the production
strategy are also tend to related and associated with the bring in an leading the proper Design and
Development of Product/ Service along with leading out and supporting Selection of viable and
suitable set of the Technology and effective Process Development. Beside this, operational
strategy and function of business management are also tending to related and associated with the

effective Resource Allocation which tend to support a viable and suitable way of the bifurcation
of all resources into various task. Thus, based on thus evaluation, an analysis and implication can
be made out the operational strategy are vital and important for business forms to ensure timely
supply chain and proper management of business resources to support and implicate proper
business functions and smooth production and delivery of product and services. Further, while
undertaking and leading out current semester I also tend to learn and understand about the fact
that The scope of management tends to includes and comprise of the set all the functions which
are tend to be performed by managers to get things done (Guo, 2022). Thus, I got to evaluate and
underhand that the scope and key aspect of the management tend to also includes and comprises
of the various branches or functional areas of management which are presented and discussed as
the Planning, Organization, Staffing, Direction, Coordination, Reporting and Budgeting. An
evaluation can be made out based on current underdoing and semester learning that planning,
organisation along with coordinating and budgeting are vital to keep a check and control on
various aspects of business organisation that tend to supports and leads to free flow of business
operation and delivery creation and delivery of product and services (Lu, 2022).
Analysis- On the basis of the learning experiences gained during the first semester I got
to develop a better analysis about the need and importance of planning and organisation function
which are vital to support a proper coordination and collaboration among various resources for
timely accomplishment of set objective. Thus, this analysis tends to support a scene of higher
critical thinking and decision making skills within me to supports better planning and
orientalising of key aspects. Further, I also got to analysis and review that having proper
budgeting and reporting of also forms a key business operation that tend to have a better check
and control in wasteful activities. Thus, this analysis tends to bring in a higher level of efficacy
and managerial skill within me to supports cost efficient and better management of resources
(Väyrynen, Lutovac & Kaasila, 2022). Finally, I tend to observe and find out that the
maintaining proper flow of supply chain along with continuity directing and motivating the
employees towards effective performance and higher productivity is also avital role of
management that supports timely implication and achievement of current aims and objective.
Therefore, current study tend to supports and present a creation of improved level of
communication as well as leadership skills within myself.

Conclusion- On the basis of current evaluation based on use of Gibbs model of reflection
I concluded that a set of effective skills is being required to support and lead out better business
operation and management. I had learnt and find out that effective communication and leadership
skill are required to ensure a better coordination and collaboration at workplace. Along with this
effective critical thinking as well as technical skill are also repaired to ensure better management
and operation of various skill along with effective budgeting and controlling business operation
and management.
Action plan- - Based on the current reflection and self-evaluation I tend to analysis that I
have significant level of critical thinking as well as bale to support management of resources and
effective planning skills (White, 2022). But it has been also summarized and find out by me that
I still need to focus on development and creation of the better communication and technical skill.
Apart from this, I also need to have effective time management skill intellectual and leadership
skill to have better and higher improvement whole working in semester 2. A discussion and

On the basis of current project, a conclusion can be made that reflective learning support
improve creation of knowledge and understanding level by the way of supporting systematic way
to analysis and evaluate own personal learning experience. Apart from this, a summarisation is
also made that Gibbs model present reflective cycle comprising of 6 steps to support effective
and systematic reflective practices. Finally, it has been concluded that business operations play a
vital role in success of affirm through leading effectively planning, organising as well and
improved coordination and control level which lead to improved business management.
