Introduction
The effectiveness of communication and the identification of barriers to communication
affect the process of the management in the different streams. I believe that change in the
communication measures helps in maintaining the different degrees of efficient interaction with
the people. On the other hand, the identification of the different psychological and technological
barriers helps in the understanding of the means through which the communication is affected.
Improvements in the communication can be brought through the communicator’s understanding
of the different barriers and the manner in which they can be mitigated. Cross-cultural
communication and the ethical decision making systems contributes to the smooth functioning of
the management of the organizations.
The discussion is dependent on the identification of the self realization and the manner in
which the themes has helped me in understanding the manner in which the themes are relevant to
the management and the proper communication attributes. It portrays my understanding of the
different elemental aspects of the themes and the manner in which they are applied to the
different management techniques.
Reflection on Effective communication
The different aspects of the change in the communication techniques help in maintaining
the different degrees of communication among the individuals. Effective communication is
dependent on the identification of the perceptions of the people and the manner in which the
receiver of the message perceives the same. The effectiveness of the communication strategy,
according to me, is dependent on the identification of the psychology of the person who is

receiving the message (Moon 2013). On the other hand, the quality of the message and the
media through which the message is being sent also forms the major part of the effectiveness
criteria for communication.
The identification of the basic model of communication will be helping me to understand
the different steps that might be taken by me to understand the manner in which the
communication can be made more effective and dynamic (Martin and Nakayama 2013). The
two way communication helps in maintaining the balance in the different situation and thereby
determine the different aspects of the change in the communicational abilities of the people.
Therefore, the model has helped me in understanding the significance of the two way
communication through the involvement of the sender of the message, the receiver and the
feedback on the same. It helps in understanding the different key elements of the change in the
processes.
Barriers to communication
The different barriers to communication affect the manner in which the message is
barred. The different barriers to communication are identified through the circumstances in
which the communicated message fails to bring in the desired result through the involvement of
the receiver. The identification of the barriers will be helping me to anticipate the issues that
might be faced by the receiver while receiving the message that I am conferring. On the other
hand, the identification of the different key elements of the change in the systems is facilitated
through the anticipation of the different issues and the mitigation procedures will be helping me
to bring in changes in the systems of the undertakings (Bochner 2013). The assessment of the
barriers will be helping me to bring in different changes in the systems of the communication,

which will be enhancing the methods of communication. I believe that the identification of the
barriers will be helping me to avoid the situations that might lead to a communication failure.
Self-awareness
Self- awareness will be helping me to identify the key issues that are faced by me while
communicating with the people. The self – awareness technique is supported through continuous
assessment that must be undertaken to bring in continuous improvements (Porcu, del Barrio-
Garcia and Kitchen 2012). Self awareness will be helping me to identify the issues that I am
facing top communicate the views to the receiver of the message. This will be helping me to
bring in changes in the manner in which I communicate my views. The different key elements of
the issues will be helping me to bring in changes in the systems and the functioning of the
communication that I undertake while performing my job role or as an individual. The
identification of the Gibbs reflective model will be helping me evaluate, analyze and thereby
formulate an action plan to bring in reforms to the manner in which I undertake the different
actions.
Cross cultural communication
The identification of the emotional response to the different cultural teams is facilitated
through the proper functioning of the manner in which the communication methods can be made
more effective. The identification of the cultures and the languages will be helping me to bring
in subtle changes in the manner in which I undertake communication. The identification of the
needs for undertaking cross- cultural will be helping me to bring in changes in the systems of the

helping me top bring in changes in the decision making process and thereby help in mitigating
the issues that are faced by me as an individual or while I am performing my job role. It will be
helping me to bring in changes in the manner in which the decision making will be justifying the
actions that I undertake. It will also help me in bringing forth changes in the systems through the
identification of the issues and the evaluation of the same to formulate mitigation strategies.
Conclusion
Therefore, from the above discussion it might be stated that the proper functioning of the
different self realization and communication techniques will be helping me to inculcate the
basics of proper management. On the other hand, the identification of the different issues while
undertaking cross- cultural communication will be helping me to bring in changes in the manner
in which I communicate with the people. Self-awareness and reflection helps the individuals in
bringing forth different levels of changes in the systems of their undertakings. It helps in the
identification of the psychological needs of the individuals of the individuals and the other
parties to ring in changes in the performance.
