Abstract
Drug abuse generally means misusage of constitutional and unconstitutional drugs which
covers alcohol, in a person’s daily life. There are different reasons that are researched over
the years regarding the consumption of drugs and its worst effects on people. Some people
take in drugs to achieve some relaxation while some consume it to achieve their right
temperament while others indulge in immense pressure to put up themselves into a particular
group. Health centres, emergency division as well as the rehabilitation centres are over
burdened with drug abuse cases continuously for a long period of time. The recent statistics
proves that the investment for the ailment program for the prolonged support and
uncontrollable drug obsessions scads over to £21 billion every year. The government
continuously provides different measures to take up control regarding this important issue
that consists of rehabilitation functions, counselling and also different treatments too, which
further aims to lessen the count of people from getting into the usage ofdrug abuse. Adding
up to the government financed rehabilitation amenties there aare several privately financed
rehabilitation centres as well who are also fighting to touch the same objective as of the
government financed rehab. This dissertation will therefore get deep into the details and see
into the statistics that if government funded rehabilitation centres helps the patients more
properly or the costly private rehabilitation centres takes good care of the patients as because
they ask for a very huge amount of money from the patients. This research evaluate the
various facilities provided by government financed rehabilitation centres as well as the
private rehabilitation centres provide to the drug abused person’s, along with suggesting
certain appropriate facilities and services and rehabs for the drug abused person’s apart from
the government financed and the private rehabs.
