INTRODUCTION
Communication can be defined as the act of transferring essential information from one
person and groups to another. Whereas, non-verbal communication refers to as conveying
information to the other person through facial expression, gestures and body positions. In the
working premises staff member use both type of communication which are, verbal and non-
verbal communication in order to convey their ideas, thought etc. to other people. The various
types of non-verbal communication are, eye contact, gestures, proximity, body language etc. The
main agenda to implement communication in an organisation is to complete the work in effective
manner. To complete the process of communication it is mandatory to involve sender, message
and a receiver. Communication can be categorise into two methods which is verbal
communication and non-verbal communication. Spoken communication includes face-to-face
interaction, television and all direct methods of communication. The state-of-the-art which is
selected for this topic relates with non-verbal communication. It includes body language,
gestures and expression for delivering the message to another persons (Adamson, 2018).
Moreover, relational communication will be defined through to understand the interaction
process with family and friends. The report is focused on understanding the effective methods
for communication. Further, it is favourable to study communication topic because it is wide in
scope. Along, with this the nature of communication is universal at both levels, professional as
well as personal.

According to Eeva A. Elliott and Authur M. Jacobs, 2013, Facial expression is used by
human being while conveying their ideas and thought through expression either by eyes or face.
In this eyes plays a major pole in making understanding the message to other person. Fiscal
expression is typically related with emotions of the people (Facial expression, 2013).
According to Peter Stimson, communication is the process of exchanging and transferring
information between individuals and groups. The main motive to learn and execute
communication factor in the organisation is to define or explain the information in efficient
methods. The process of delivering the message to another message on planning basis leads an
individual to make effective decisions by understanding all essential aspects of communication.

In the present scenario, it is essential for organisation and individuals to transfer reliable and
essential information for accomplishing their task in effective manner. With the implement of
this process it is easy for receiver to identify and select those alternatives which leads

According to the Raksha Talathi, communication is used to transfer the facts, figures,
information, ideas and suggestion from one person to another. This activity helps them to
understand the subject matters which is exchanged between sender and the receiver. Facial
expression is one of the most effective methods through which it is easy for humans to interact
with each other easily. Like there are various task are performed by individuals so to complete
them effectively it is essential for individuals to learn all types skills. Like facial expression,
verbal and non-verbal. Communication refers to the way by which an individual share
information through using verbal and non-verbal methods. Further, in the present scenario
several aspects are present that must be considered by sender for sharing the similar information
or meaning with the receiver. Moreover, the major concern which impacts on individuals and
organisation is to reduce the time that is consumed to complete the work. It determines that
ineffective communication leads the organisation or an individual to accomplish their task in
non-effective manner.
According to the Richard Nordquist, Non-verbal communication is the process of sending
and receiving message without using the words. The process of non-verbal communication refers
to the process of transferring message by gestures, body language, signals and many more.
Moreover, non-verbal communication refers to share the information through physical

According to the Edward G. Wertheim, non-verbal communication is the key factors that
leads an organisation and the individual to communicate effectively with other persons. Most of
the business operations are dealing with the clients at global level. Therefore, it is mandatory for
