INTRODUCTION
The term “healthcare environment” is a composite of a number of aspects that need to be
comprehended in an effective environment (Bazyar and et. al, 2020). Such components include
health, well being, illness and many more. In this relation, the present project is based upon
Badger Healthcare Ltd which has been identified as a small social care enterprise that is engaged
in provision of advice along with support services for people having multiple sclerosis. The
Birmingham and District General Practitioner Emergency Room abbreviated as Badger has been
providing impeccable services to the individuals dealing with the concerned issue for last many
years. Over the course by time, this entity has built its effective position within the market place
by placing due emphasis over quality and experience of support service provision.
Roles as a Manager
Badger Healthcare Limited is engaged in provision of support services for a long period of time
now. It has been making use of hierarchical organizational structure from a very long time
period. The entity seeks to secure funding from CCG for which the management has decided to
make certain changes within its organizational structure. Being the manager within the
organization, it is important to create, devise and implement certain strategies for the
improvement of productivity as well as performance of the entity (Broome and Marshall, 2020).
This aids the entity in catering to the care needs of a large number of individuals dealing with
challenge like multiple sclerosis. In the present time, my main aim as being the manager for the
enterprise is to devise strategy with the help of which it will be able to avail funding from CCG.
Apart from this, my other roles as applicable to Badger Healthcare Limited are discussed in a
detailed manner as follows:-
Bringing effective changes at work place:
It is regarded as one of the most important roles of the manager for a social care organization
(Broome and Marshall, 2020). It is important for me as the manager to take into account the gaps
that are present within the entity in terms of skills, competences or any other element. After
finding the gap, the main intent is to introduce changes with the help of which such gap existing
within Badger Healthcare Limited can be effectively addressed. The long term implication of the
same would be provision of high quality support services and advice to people affected by
