INTRODUCTIONA business event is something where the business logics and the terms will becommunicated to all the employees or other companies which are related to that field. These typeof days are organized and managed by the employers. To organize any appreciation day, it willrequire a profound knowledge of other business companies, a proper interaction betweendifferent stakeholders, as well as the professionals who are managing a business event (Wangand et.al, 2016). There are various types of business events like; product launch parties, businessdinners, network launch party, holiday party, client appreciation, employee appreciation, tradeshows, charity function etc. To organize any business event, the management must make surethat all the participants and the members who will be included in this event should enjoy thisevent and there should not be any mistake in organizing that event. TASK 1The business event which is chosen is “Employee Appreciation Event”. This is organizedto give thank you note to all the employees who have contributed in the success of the company.These events are generally exciting and innovative ways to keep and build up the team spirit, andto encourage the employees, so that they will work hard in achieving goal of the company. Theimpact of these events huge. It boosts the morale of employees such that, they start workingharder in achieving their goals and at the same time, they are achieving the objectives and goalset by the company (Park and et.al., 2013). During their whole career, the employees of thatcompany spend more time in their office, than any other place or extra time in doing work thanother activities, so it is the great way to organize the employee appreciation event, to show themthat how much the company is caring and appreciating the hard work and the loyalty putting theemployees. TASK 2 / TASK 3i) Introduction, purpose and history Employee Appreciation day was organized for the employees of “OCS group” toacknowledge the efforts, dedication and hard work throughout the year. The main purpose of thiswas to motivate the employees, help them in increasing their confidence level, to appreciate theireffort in achieving the company's goal and targets. To appreciate the employee for what he isdoing is a great thing and most of the time it has proved to be effective and the result is shown in

the output of the company's performance and their profitability. This has given advancement andnew approach to the employee to think out of the box for any problem and the employee willfocus more towards the company's goal and objectives. The employees want good salary andbenefits. But the important thing they want from the company is to be treated fairly without anypartiality, this will be just like an extra contribution to the company because they will work moreand this will show through the performance and the outcome of the profits, the company willgain. March 4, is known as the employee appreciation day. It is the day when OCS grouppauses for one day, just to consider the importance and the value of their employees andappreciate the staff who are currently working with the organisation (Vanden and et.al 2016).The history of these function shows that, whenever a company is not celebrating or organisingsuch type of appreciation day, concentration of the employee gets distracted. They will feel likethey are not important to the company, and the company is treating them like machines. This willresult in the decrease in the performance of the employee, resulting in the decrease in the qualityof the services and the product of the company. The organization cannot afford to have such kindof low quality of services, so they declare 4 March as a day to celebrate and appreciate theemployee. They want that company should treat them like humans, not machines when they areworking. The appreciation and applaud for the hard work is a basic human need, and all theemployees want that their performance should be applauded. The company should let them knowthat they are making tremendous effort in the success of the company and the management musttake this into account and plan a day or function to appreciate the employees. Such kind of events give the satisfaction to the employees and at the same time, it willincrease the happiness of the employee. The company want that their employees are not onlysatisfied and loyal toward the company but also they are happy at their work and they love whatthey are doing (Kasravi and et.al., 2017). These also improve the culture of OCS group. Cultureis the main part of attracting, engaging and finally retaining the employees. By doing suchevents, the employees will make the working environment better and the culture friendlier, sothat people will work freely and with more effectiveness. ii) Promotion, designing and planningTo plan any type of event, first of all, the company have to decide what type of functionthey want to organize and according to that they start planning. OCS group has planned this
