INTRODUCTION Construction of a professional and personnel development plan is essential to gain achievements in the career as well as achieve personnel growth. The subject of the basis of this report is personnel development plan and professional development plan. MAIN BODY TASK 1 Conception of personnel and professional development plan The focus of a personnel development plan is on creation of an action plan on the basis of consciousness, beliefs, reflections future goals, and strategies to ensure personnel development of an individual in relation to their career, education or for self improvement in certain field. The five areas in which an individual seeks to make an improvement through personnel development plan are mental social spiritual emotional and physical(Beygi and Gholipour, 2016). A professional development plan includes a guideline related to skills and education requiredtomakecareeradvancementsandachieveprofessionalgrowth.Aprofessional development plan involves detailed strategy which focuses on enhancing skills of an individual so that they can move upwards in their career. The abilities competencies and objectives outlined in the professional development plan assist an employee in their continuous improvement and ascending movement in their career to achieve their professional aspirations. Description and discussion of worth of short term goals Short term goals refer to those objectives which need to be accomplished soon and the timeperiodfortheircompletionislessthan12months.Shorttermobjectivesreduce procrastination and build a clear way to attaining overall goals by focusing on one step at time. Construction and completion of short term goals increases motivation and enhances productivity (Dalal, Archambault and Shelton, 2017).
Example 1- I wanted to increase my communication skills so I started participating in presentation s at my workplace. Example 2- I wanted to advance my career so I attended networking events. Example 3- In order to enhance my health is tarted exercising everyday. Description and discussion of worth of medium-term term goals Medium term goals are objectives which need to be accomplished somewhere between short term and long term goals. Example 1- I wanted to build my qualifications so I joined a certifications programme. Example 2- I wanted to improve my singing so I joined singing classes. Example 3- I wanted to gain work experience so I joined an internship programme. Description and discussion of worth of long term term goals These objectives refers to those objectives which require significant time, effort and planning to accomplish. These goals are helpful in achieving career aspirations(DiPaola, M. and Wagner, 2018). Example 1- I wanted to start technology firm which required management qualification and knowledge about engineering. Example 2- I need to learn effective communication skills to achieve success in the future. Example 3-I wanted to make a difference as an activist so I started working for an NGO.
