club was at 13th position. Days was when Newcastle football club was counted in the top 5 in the

matter of concern for the Newcastle United in the Premier League. From past few years some of
positions like defenders and forward are giving poor performance due to which club failed to win
a match in the Premier League. One of the main mistakes that football club make is that it takes
players from other football clubs on rent basis (Cleland and Dixon, 2015). It is very important for
the management of the mentioned football club to understand the disadvantages of the loan basis
approach that is adopted to hire any player. In this approach usually, any club give its player to
any other club when specific one is not performing well or was injured and far from the
playground. Club usually to test the player efficiency give their player on loan to another club.
Newcastle is following same approach and under this it took number of players from the other
clubs which were unfit. Consequently, performance of the Newcastle United become poor and it
does not come in even in top 10. This is one of the factor due to which Newcastle United is not
able to perform well. Apart from this, its defenders and attackers are also not doing well like
specific position observe higher number of yellow and red cards and other position on other hand
have low shooting accuracy which are the negative points and clearly reflect the inefficiency of
the players to play with discipline and accuracy (Appel., 2015). Thus, overall it can be said that
there are number of reasons due to which Newcastle United performance become worst in past
couple of years. Apart from players fitness factor motivation is another factor that is playing vital
role and is also one of the main reason behind poor performance of the Newcastle United. In

other hand, there are few players to whom higher fee is paid then their market value. Thus,

Hardjono, 2016). A here stands for ability, M stands for motivation and O stands for opportunity.
By working in these areas management problem can be solved to maximum possible extent.

it can be said that Newcastle United by working on enhancing ability of its employees can
improve its players performance and can jump ladder to more improved rank.
