RESEARCH METHODOLOGYResearch design: A research design is the format or parent in which the research flows.This means the direction givens as a way to the research. This is of generally three types:exploratory, descriptive and casual. For the present research project descriptive design will beselected in order to present the research findings and outcomes in descriptive manner. Thisresearch takes up the research data and information and present in the conclusive nature.Research type: It can be defined as the method through which the research will beconducted and research questions are being answered. This is a strategy which is used toimplement the plan. This is of basically two types qualitative and quantitative. For the presentresearch project qualitative research type will be chosen )(Types of Survey Research, 2018). Therationale behind selecting this is that it includes a procedure of making he inquiries and getting indepth understanding over the problems and issues related with research topic in there naturalphenomenon. With this research type the positive effect of MNC over the poverty alleviationwill be determined in detail.Research Philosophies: It can be defined in the dissertation as being aware andformulating beliefs and assumptions. This must be selected in connection with the type ofresearch and dissertation to be carried out (Research Philosophy, 2018). For the qualitativeresearch type the suitable philosophy is the interpretaism this method takes into considerationthe in depth and insight exploration of a small sample size for conducting the qualitativeinvestigation of the data and sample collected over the research topic of reduction in poverty bythe operation of MNC in Africa.Research approaches: It can be defined as the relevance to the hypothesis of theresearch topic. This can be of two type inductive and deductive. For the present study theresearch approach will be selected as inductive one. The reason behind this is that for thisresearch project the type of I RM is chosen to be quantitative one and for such type inductiveapproach is used. Moreover, inductive approach is synthetical nature with taking interferencewith the data and hypothesis of the research topic. This is used I in the known premise togenerate the untested conclusions. Research strategies: it can be defined as the step by step plan of action which gives thedirection to the thoughts and process of the present research over the topic that can multinationalcorporations help alleviate poverty in Africa. In the primarymethods interviews will be taken form 30 different employee 10 each form 3 different MNCworking in the Africa. For the same questions will be asked through questionnaires. For thesecondary data he reports of the three of the organization will be referred on how muchemployment they have created over past years and how it has helped n reduction of the povertyin Africa. Moreover the blogs, journal articles by the economists and scholars will also bereferred so to gain insight over the impact on the economy as to increase in the employment inAfrica by the MNCs.Sampling: The sample for the present research project are selected as 30 employee 10each form 3 different MNC operating in Africa. The multinational corporation whose employeeinterviews are the Tesco, Cadabury and Marks and Spencer. The respondent are selected throughrandom sample techniques so that all of the employee will have an equal opportunity of beingselected.
