Talent management is the process of retaining employees and staff members in the
organisation for long time period. It is the responsibility of HR manager to retain
employees for long run and this help the organisation introducing their employee turnover
rate. There are various talent management strategies which are used in organisation to
retain their employees for long time. these strategies are providing training and
development sessions to the employees and providing rewards and recognition the
employees. The organisation which is taken in this research is Samsung. This report
include research aims objectives and questions then it includes research rationale. It also
consists of literature review and research methodology used for conducting this research in
most effective manner.

The reason behind choosing this research topic is that talent management is very important
for every business. There are various talent management strategies used by manager in
order to retain employees for long run in the business. By conducting this research
investigator will be able to enhance his skills and knowledge of talent management
strategies. This helps the investigator in his future and professional development. also, this
will help them in personal development and knowing about the research topic and gaining
more knowledge about the talent management strategies. This will help the investigator in
enhancing communication skills and time management skills as well.

According to Ansari (2021), Talent management strategy is the strategy which is used by
manager of a company to enhance employees’ productivity and engagement and retaining
them for long time in the organisation. There is various importance of talent management
strategies these are it attract skilled employees as talent management strategies of
employees towards working in their organisation because if manager of a company
provides proper training and development sessions then employees automatically attracted
by the company performance (6 Simple Talent Management Strategies, 2021). Another
importance is it improves retention rate in the organisation as if employees feel motivating
and growth in future then they automatically encourage to retain in the organisation for
long time and this helps organisation in reducing their employee’s turnover rate. next
importance is boosting performance as talent management strategies help employees in
boosting their performance for long time and achieving their organisation goals and
objectives by getting updates and innovative ideas or creating better products.
According to Hejase (2020), There can be various talent management strategies used in
Samsung organisation is that understanding the power of job description or assessing
candidate culture fit land providing them effective training and development sessions.
Organisation provide talent management strategies and providing rewards and recognition
to the employees so that they could feel more motivated and importance in the organisation

and work towards the achievement of goals and objective of the organisation. There can be
various challenges faced by managers of Samsung in implementing talent management
strategies like lack of leadership and increase in conflicts between employees while
conducting performance appraisal programs (Talent Management Challenges, 2020).
Challenges like in experience with the technology and increasing employee turnover rate
can be faced by the employees and there can be poor hiring strategies faced by manager at
the time of recruiting a candidate.
