Literature review
It is observed that IoT is a common topic for the research and there are
various journal articles were published in the last few years. The major
significance of this literature review is to examine and evaluate the
challenges linked with the IoT in health care and explore the findings of the
previous studies based on the IoT challenges.
According to Islam, et al., (2015) IoT is an effective communication
technology that has the capability to perform the data communication
between computer networks and physical things. In the health care sectors,
the use of IoT is growing day by day that effectively impacts on the business
and reduces the communication-related problems effectively. Security is the
biggest problem faced by the health communities that negatively impact on
the management and systems used by the health care sectors (Hassan, et
al., 2014). From previous literature, it is found that IoT requires proper
communication between the networks and systems but developers are able
to produce the unauthentic signals in the impact of the system on the
computer devices. Conflict is another issue linked with the internet of things
due to which hackers can easily perform security threats and issues in the
systems.
Dimitrov, (2016) provided their opinions on IoT and identified various
challenges issues linked with IoT faced by the health care systems. Most
internet of things initiatives are incomplete that affect the performance of
the developed systems and produce problems in the health communities. It
is very complex for the developers to control and reduce the security
threats and risks that occurred in the systems due to which the
management of health communities can suffer from the data breach issues.
From recent literature conducted by Hiremath, Yang, and Mankodiya,
(2014) it is observed that IoT enabled devices to enhance security attacks
and threats in the health care sectors because IoT uses internet connections
