Background Globalisation is defined as a process of integrating the economy of one country with the economy of the world as a whole. Also, it will provide deep insight about how globalisation has assisted British Businesses in seeking market competition by formulation of sound and effective business strategies. Aims and Objectives Aims- To assess the impact made by globalisation on the operations of British businesses in context of market competition. Objectives– To identify recent trends of the globalisation. To evaluate the impact globalisation having on the British businesses To recommends measures to be undertaken for seeking benefits from globalisation. Research Questions Q.1. What are the current trends prevailing in the market because of globalisation ? Q.2. How globalisation has created impact on the British Businesses in context of market competition ? Q.3. What are the strategies from which British Businesses can seek advantages of globalisation ? CHAPTER 2 – METHODOLOGY Research methodology is a manner in which the research project is undertaken by the researcher in effective and successful manner. It provides a deep insight about all the
methods, measures and concepts used for conducting these research project. Research Type– Research are of two type viz. Quantitative and Qualitative research. For this research project, Qualitative method is used as it will provide better and proper explanation about the topic and its information. Research Approach–Isoftwotypesi.e.Inductive&Deductive.Inductiveprovides effective observation and deals with theoretical aspects of research. Deductive focuses on formulation of hypothesis. The researcher will use inductive approach as it deals with theoretical aspects of the research study. Research Design– For completing this research study, Descriptive research design will be used by researcher. There are basically two types of research design viz. Exploring and Descriptive.ResearcherwillfocusonDescriptiveresearchdesignasitprovides longitudinal analysis of the case study making research easy to complete and understand as well. Basically it defines the study type for example survey, experiment, correlational analysis, etc. Research philosophy- Interpretivism and Positivism are research philosophy type used for completingresearchproject.ResearcherwilluseInterpretivismphilosophyasit emphasizes on better analysis of qualitative facts. Sampling– Purposive sampling has been used by researcher for completing the research project. All the sample will be gathered from the 10 managers of the UK retail sector. Data Collection– Data will be gathered from both primary and secondary sources such as books, journals etc. Interview will be conducted & questionnaire prepared will be filled by 10 managers of the UK retail sector. Data Analysis– Researcher has used Thematicmeans for analyzing data correctly. It will help in presenting accurate outcome and interpretation of the data so collected. CHAPTER 3 – RESEARCH PROCEDURES Ethical Consideration -For conducting this research study, all the ethical aspects, norms and principles has been followed by the researcher and scholars. All the ethical guidelines has been followed for successful completion of research study. Researcher has also ensured that the data and information collected for research project has been rephrased totally.
