1.1 Justification of proposed research
Talent management strategies are associated with ensuring smooth functioning of organisations
to manage the workforce in most effective and productive manner. There are many different
associated activities that are part of talent management process used by organisations to manage
their functionality. Present report is based on analysing recruitment and selection strategies in
organisations and the different challenges that are associated in case of small business
organisations (Rozario, Venkatraman and Abbas, 2019). For this purpose, there will be use of
qualitative methods and different interview questions that will be asked to employees working in
the small sector organisation. Based on the overall information that has been collected through
the search methodologies finally there will be conclusions that are going to be drawn as per lead
aims and objectives of the Research report.
1.2 Introduction and justification of selected organisation
Aqualisa:
Aqualisa is a UK based organization that is working towards making showers and other related
components that includes shower valves, shower heads, electric showers and digital thermostatic.
They ate also offering after care services selling shower parts & other spares by offering shower
selling. They are a UK based brand having contracts with Malasiya manufactures and are
exploring the global export businesses (AQUALISA PRODUCTS LIMITED, 2020).
1.3 Aim and objectives of the research

Aim: “The aim of the research is to analyse recruitment and selection policies”. A study on
AQUALISA LTD
Objectives:
To understand the current recruitment and selection process.
To identify factors, consider in selection of the employees.
To explore opinion of employee about company recruitment and selection.
Chapter 2: Literature review
Current recruitment and selection process
As per views ofMason Stevenson (2019),Human resource management is one of the most
important aspects of every organisation that is associated with managing different functional
areas. Recruitment is a concept where most human professionals must focus because it is
associated with hiring of employees in the organisation. Recruitment is regarded as a process of
identification, attraction of individuals, interviewing, selection of individuals, hiring and for the
on boarding of employees. It involves identification of staffing requirements in the organisation
(Picardi, 2019). Human resource management is a function that is associated with facilitating
overall organisation goals with effective administration of human capital. Recruitment is a step
building organisations human capital and to identify the best talent pool. In context of small
organisations there is a specific recruitment and selection process that is adopted to hire
candidates as per different job positions. In Company generally there is focus on using internal
recruiting methods. It involves filling vacancies with existing employees as per their present
competence level. Apart from this there are several other recruitment and selection strategies that
include outplacement recruitment external recruitment or contingency recruitment (Recruitment
– Talent Management Pillars Part I, 2020).
Identify factors consider in selection of the employees in AQUALISA LTD
As per HR professional (2020), there are many different organisations that are using a
specific recruitment strategy for the purpose of hiring candidates in the organisation. In case of
small organisations these strategies are especially important because it sets the basis of overall
organisational functioning. There is presence of limited workforce that is contributing towards
achievement of the late vision and mission of AQUALISA LTD. In these organisations’
