INTRODUCTION
Resources can be defined as the aids that helps to enhance the learning experience of the
learners. There is key role of using right resources that helps the students to learn in effective
manner and the teachers to teach effectively (Pozzi, Prattichizzo and Malvezzi, 2021). The
teachers are able to provide best education to the students with the help of best aids. The
specialist area is Health and social care. There is discussion related to the effectiveness of
resources in teaching the students. The purpose of resources in meeting the needs of individuals
is part of this report. There is discussion regarding theories, principles and models of inclusive
curriculum design that helps to teach the students effectively. The approach in which students are
able to adapt the inclusive approach are mentioned in this report. The resources must be stored
and classified in appropriate manner so that it can be used in effective manner. The legal
requirements must be followed so that the resources are developed in best suitable manner. In the
end, own practice is evaluated so that needs and wants of the learners are fulfilled effectively.
The plan is also presented as it is necessary to enhance the particular skill of the teacher and
leads to attain success.

The resources play a significant role in teaching the students. The learners also get best
studies with the help of resources. the resources are flexible and adaptable tools that helps in
development of students. The use of information and communication technology also help to
engage the students in the classroom (Branchaw and Et. Al., 2020). These are the supporting aids
for the teachers that helps them to teach the students in best possible manner. In health and social
care there is need of using the resources so that the students are able to get the practical
knowledge regarding the concepts. The purpose of resources is as follows:
Ease of teacher: The teacher has to work in such a manner that all the students in the
classroom are able to understand the topics. The use of power points and similar resources help
to engage the students of health and social care to learn in effective manner and let them learn
effectively.

Effective learning and teaching: The purpose of resources is to engage the students in the
classroom. This helps the teacher to give the lectures and at the same time use resources that will
help the to teach the students (Drozdikova-Zaripova and Sabirova, 2020). The learners of every

time, right colour combination is used to teach the students and this engages them in the
classroom. The power point is also shared with the students so that they are able to revise the
topics in appropriate manner.
The use of case studies helps to provide examples to the students. The basic knowledge of
the students is enhancing at the time of teaching with case studies. Providing real time case
examples helps them understand the negative and positive outcomes that enhances the
knowledge of the students.
The use of text books, articles and journals is also done. The students are given important
topics that they have to read. This is done with the help of books. It helps them to start the habit
of self study and then remember the concepts. There is key role of using the best resources for

resource design, the use of best principles is done so that the students are able to learn from them

design. These principles are necessary for the teachers and the knowledge of the students can be

Need: The need of these principles includes achieving success for the students. The

sources must be considered in today’s time in order to develop resources for the students of
health and social care. Some of the sources are mentioned below:

presentations considering quality information for the students.
Peers and colleagues: Taking help from peers is one of the important source as they also
work to develop resource. Being a teach of health and social care there is key role of
taking advice from the peers as they have knowledge in same field. They tell me about
the best resources that they use in order to teach the students and provide me support.

provided at a single place that can enhance the working and learning of students.

provide best to the students. Assessment is the systematic basis that is used to evaluate the
performance of the students. The learning and development of the students can be known by
designing right resources. Reliability helps the tutor to interpret the consistency of students
learning. It helps the teacher to learn about the student so that they are able to train the students
accordingly and provide best resource to them. This helps to take regular test of the students and
to evaluate their performance. The resources must be designed in such a manner that all the skills
and knowledge of students is being developed. The resources must be designed as per the
specific curriculum so that the same can help the students to develop themselves.

is different unauthorised access which needs to be stopped on the portal. At the time of needs the
portal can be used through which the individual can identify the needs and use the content in an
effective manner. The teachers can also provide the enriching experience to the students. The
teachers can focus on developing different skills and capabilities of the students.

There are many skills and knowledge which is necessary for the development of ow practice in
using resources. It is necessary for every teacher that they should have capability to use resources
in an effective way. The more they will teach with the resources and utilise them effectively, the
more there will be betterment in learning practices. There will be efficiency in providing learning
and subject related knowledge to deliver to the students. In my own practice of suing resources, I
have knowledge of using software, smart boards and power point presentation to demonstrate the
visual diagrams and charts related to human body in health care. I am able to use these resources
to meet with the needs of individual learners (Adams, 2020). As I could provide them topic
related explanation in both theoretical and visual ways. As there are various types of learners
who learn easily through listening, reading or watching. So I make sure that all the resources are
in consideration to respond to each one of queries. The learners get satisfied which is vital to
showcase them the importance of health education. So I have ensured that, I provide access of
PowerPoint presentation, equipment and tools to every learner. So that, they will make the
learning interesting and attractive. The other resources like text books, article and internet are
also helpful in gaining further description about the topics. So I use each one of the resources
vitally which will cover all the student needs a learning style.
5.2 Identify own strengths and areas for improvement in relation to development and use of

There is requirement of various strength and weakness which has to be sure about the
development of resources. The strength using resources will help in easing to take opportunities
and overcome the threats. In my own area of health and education, I have some strong points

lead to impact on my education and training practices. My crucial strength is that I could sue the
resources effectively by having good technical knowledge. As mainly all the functions work with
technology and internet, I could find ways to make it attractive for the students. I have good
communication and administration skills which will help me guide and instruct students in a
better manner (Wang, 2018). With my prior experience and self-confidence, I can make the

digital software like Moodle, handouts and other resources for making classes interactive and
inter personal.
Apart from the strength some of my areas which require improvements such as time

these skills in myself in order to flow the curriculum standard and complete the course within
time (Chen, 2021. Holden, 2022). Also, proper decision making is necessary to use best
resources which will be in favour of the students and their growth and development.
