Introduction
SECTION 1
The automotive industry is growing rapidly with increasing number of companies
rapidly. The sector is helpful in providing the employment to several people. In addition to this,
it helps in growth & enlargement of the economy efficiently. The automotive industry of UK is a
vital part of the overall economy with the worth of more than 78.9 billion turnover. This is
adding value in the overall economy in an efficient manner. In the overall UK industry, there are
nearly 30 manufactures which build more than 70 models of vehicles. The industry has ample of
skilled workers. It is analyzed that there are nearly 5 design centers within the entire automotive
industry UK (Stolfa and et. al., 2020). To manufacture the new models of vehicles, there are
nearly 20 R & D centers within the country. The present study is based on the analysis of
automotive industry.
Background of company
For completion of the entire project, briggs automotive company is taken into
consideration that is a forerunner car manufacturer of the country. This company was started in
the year of 2009 and has headquartered in UK. Neill and lan Briggs are the founder of the
organization. It is a sports car manufacture company which is known for creation of sports
vehicles. The company mainly manufactures sports vehicles along with a format of central seat
with an aim to offer better racing experience to the drivers. The first vehicle of the organization
was introduced in 2011.
The environment
Internal environment
To make forecast about the resources, there is requirement to have sufficient knowledge
of internal capabilities and resources. Here, the internal analysis is helpful in preparing suitable
strategies for further growth & enhancement. In this context, SWOT analysis of the respective
company is given below:

Strengths:
The respective company is a well-known automotive organization that has been
developed several sports cars to provide better experience to the customers (Garcia and
da Costa 2018).
They ensure to provide authentic and real experience to the users in an efficient manner.
It is analyzed that the business entity has been launched several advance car models
which is helpful in creating positive brand image of the entity.
Weaknesses:
It is analyzed that the company do not have sufficient amount of resources to fulfill the
requirements of expansion.
The investment of the respective entity is lower in terms of research & development that
will affect the future development of efficient models of cars (Tian and et. al., 2020).
Lack of resources will affect the future potential of growth of the respective business
entity.
Opportunities
The briggs automotive company has the opportunity to expand the business across
different locations with an aim to earn substantial amount of profit margin.
There is opportunity to develop new & advance models of cars to maintain an unique
presence within the automotive industry.
External environment
Political Factors: The political conditions of the country put a significant impact on the
operations of the company. In context of the given scenario, the respective company needs to
make modifications in their existing policies to maintain the effectiveness in daily business
operations.
Economical Factors: In context of the respective company, they are affected with
different economical conditions such as GDP, inflation, demand, supply and more (Wells, 2017).
