INTRODUCTION

of a business which needs to be focused while performing activities in a business organisation.

organisation whereas external factors are the factors which cannot be controlled by organisation
and generally affects the whole industry of a business. In order ascertain external environment of
any organisation, the company use to conduct PESTLE analysis which helps them to understand
the essential factors of external environment. Rightmove Plc is an organisation which deals in
web development and operates by providing web designing services to their customers inside as
well as outside the geographical boundaries of the country. This report helps to understand the
operations of Rightmove Plc. In this dynamic environment and the way the factors of external
environment that are Political, Economic, Sociological, Technological, Environmental and Legal
factors affects the decision making and business of the company. This report basically contains

Rightmove Plc. is a UK based IT company which provides web design related services to their
customers. It is the largest online website developer of UK. Its ownership is under the general
public which are known as shareholders of the company as it is registered as a public limited
company. Shares of Rightmove Plc. Are listed on London stock exchange. It was started as a
joint venture between four different countries in 2000. it provides services to their customers
which range from listing the real estate agents to develop effective website in order to carry
forward a good advertisement. These services helps the owner of the website to properly
promote their services in the market. Due to the rapid change in the technology in this dynamic
environment, the company has gone through a several changes in their operations in order to
adapt those technological changes in the environment. This adaptation of technology by the
organisation the organisation has became the largest real estate website developer in UK. It is
essential for the organisation to expand their business operations not only in financial matters but
also in non financial matters (BOSE, 2020). Rightmove Plc. is at 4th position in the top 10

competitors of the world in the industry of real estate web development and give employment to
approximately 558 employees.
Describe the organisational structure of Rightmove PLC company.
The organisational structure of Rightmove Plc. Contains top management and the designers in
the organisation. There are 3 executive directors, 6 non-executive directors with a chairman in
the company which constitute a board committee. The executive directors include the Chief
executive officer, a finance director and a chief operating officer.
