INTRODUCTIONTheme Park is refers to as place established with the objective of attracting visitors. Theanother purpose of developing the amusement or theme park is to support the people in Malta inincreasing the living standard and improving life style. Visitors Attraction is defined as theessential as well as permanent resources which are created,managed and controlled with theintention of enjoyment as well education for local community that visit the destination. Theestablishment of the amusement park may bring some sought of opportunities as well as threatsfor the people living in Malta. Each and every individual involved in the project has someresponsibilities as well roles to play in completion of project on time and systematic manner.The purpose of the project is to develop an effective plan for establishing amusementpark for people in Malta. It also has focus on defining the roles of each and every individual.Report also emphasizes on highlighting the resources which is required for the execution as wellas successful completion of the project.TASK 1 Aims and objectives of the project Aim of the project is to open an amusement park as a recreation point for people of Malta.Objective of the project :To provide Malta people , the place were they can visit for getting relax and spend sometime with nature.To encourage and expand active recreation events by creating and providing additionalplaying fields.To complete the project within the time span of 6 months.To provide memorable experience to visitors.To develop effective plan which can be used for completing project on time and insystematic manner.To enhance the enhances the viability and use of other connected open space areas.To increase market share by 15 percent.To increase gross profit margin within second year of operations.The main objective is to realize the way business impact the community .
To create an atmosphere of fun and excitement for the entire family, with activitiesdesigned to please the local residents.To attract the foreign visitors.To Target high traffic areas for maximum public exposure.Roles and responsibility of team membersThere are 14 key people involved for execution of this project. The roles which arerelarted with this project is funding the project and proper allocation of the funds so raised.Another work related with this project is completion of day wise activities and managing thepersonnel involved in the team for better communication and completion of park at scheduledtime. The responsibilities are assigned to team members are per the activities and control:Project Manager: He/she is the person who is responsible for handling and completion of whole project.All other team members with different designation will work under him/her and activities arecarried out as per his or mutual decision of the team. Project Manager has the major roles to play as well as responsibilities to fulfil indeveloping plan for opening an amusement or theme park in Malta. It is the duty of manager tomonitor the routine activities performed by workers working at lower level. Responsibilities ofmanager are to provide all the necessary resources that are required to complete the project.Function of manager is to identify the problems faced by employees during execution of specificactivity and provide them with the appropriate solution for the same. Other activities that arerequired to be perform by manager during the project are to provide training to workers,developing the strategic plans, monitoring health as safety of people and workers,overseeing thepark's finances and managing the employees. The essential function of the manager is tocommunicate the objective of the project to all team members. They are also accountable fordefining the assigning of the task to each and every group member associated with opening anamusement park in Malta (Robson and McCartan, 2016)Assistant manager:This person is an importance link between project manager and other team members.This person is a communication chain as he monitors all the performance and report to theprojector manger and take orders for him/her and ask the employees at lower level to carry outthe activities assigned to them.
Function of assistant manager is to support top level; management in decision making procedureand creation of plan or strategies for smooth function of activities during the project. The role ofmarketing team is to conduct research or survey in order to identify the facilities that are requiredby visitors in amusement park. It will help an enterprise in planning the way to provide suchservices or facilities to people. Role of other team members is to interact with guests throughproviding information and guidance. Responsibility of manager is to hire attendants and ensureproper management of park.Attendant or supervisor: This person is responsible for managing all activities at lower level involving allemployee and labour. There are 4 supervisors who will monitor particular activities and thy istheir responsibility to check that each activity is completed on time.Function of attendant is to design attractive activities or plan events to providememorable experience to visitors. Roles as well as responsibilities of attendant in amusementpark are to provide recreational facilities. It is the duty of recreational attendant is to maintainand provide equipment to participants of sporting events or for operating amusement concessionsas well as rides. The function of other members in conducting recreational events as well asactivities for the people in MALTA. It is required by recreational attendants to plan supportsactivities for children's. As this will support children in their personal as well as professionaldevelopment. Responsibility of recreational attendant is Organised as well as manage socialgatherings and community programs, conducting activities of special interest to residents inMalta. As this will help them in promoting culture and feeling of unity.Finance manger: how to generate funds and where to allocate them to ensure effective and efficientutilisation of the financial resource for the project. Moreover, it is the responsibility of thefinance manger to make sure that cost control is implemented and expenses are done as per theplanned budgets and there is on over allocation of funds to any activity. Employee and Labour:they are of key importance in this project as these are the person who will carry out thephysical labour and groundwork related with the project. The responsibility of these people isthat to carry out the work with full efficient and making sure that all work is done with duediligence as a loop hole can lead to a major accident and can cost money and lives.
Role of team member in the project is to identify the area of problem. Function of groupmember is top address the root cause of problem and analyse the suitable solution for the same.It ids the duty of people working in a team to gather the information related to the research topic.As this will help them in reaching to some solution. Role of manager or leader is to provideresources which are required for executing activities during the project. It is the duty of leader ormanager to motivate other team member to improve their performance as well as increaseparticipation. Role of team member is to perform their task as per the guidelines or instructionprovided by supervisor.Identifying the constraints of the projectIn project management, constraint can be defined as the limitation of the project. Thereare several factors that can create barriers in successful completion of the project. The followingconstraints that can have direct influence on the outcome or the quality of performance are cost,time, scope, communication, resources, risk and quality of project.Scope:A project scope includes the specific objectives as well as activities which defines thelimitations of the project. The opening of the amusement park will include following activitiessuch as trend and market analysis. This can be a limitation in this project as there are certain fixrides and activities which can be installed in amusement park as this is located in the vicinity ofthe Malta. So rides which involve high noise and pollutions can not be installed in the park.Cost : it is defined as the financial limitation that has direct effect on the quality of performance.Cost includes all determination of capital investment in the project. Management team in anenterprise is required to focus on identifying the recreational activities that can be conducted forthe visitors in less budget. It is required by manager to develop appropriate strategies formaintaining the quality of services. As this will help them in attracting more number of people.This can be considered as constrain and to maintain the quality of the project the cost willincrease and non completion of the project on time will also increase the cost of the project. Time : It includes the preparation of the schedule for each and every activity. As this will helpmanagement team in ensuring the completion of project on time. This constant also includes thetime scales according to which all the task are to be completed. In present scope the projectcompletion time will be 6 months. This can be determined as constrain as timely completion ofthe work is not possible as there are many contingencies in the future which can not be seen inpresent times.
