Introduction
The main aim of this paper is to identify 10 related sources of academic paper that would be
applied further during completion of proposal and report in next assessments. In this work
resources located are corelated to implementation of digital communication strategy in an
organisation and the strategy that is selected is use of social media at workplace for
communication.

In this article Cao, Guo, Vogel & Zhang investigated influence of social media over work
performance of employees and even explored mechanism to create value at work. The
authors collected data using paper based survey on voluntary basis over 379 working
employees in China with aim to propose way social media supported employees. The
research focused on social capital and knowledge transfer to reveal that social media have
direct impact over work performance of employees and has scope further to facilitate
formation of employees social capital. This article is useful to my research as it suggest that
social media has direct relation with work performance of employees. The main limitation is
only investigated participants from China so authors have stated that future research needs to
be undertaken based on longitudinal data that could interpret dynamic relationship. This
article will form basis of my research to support social media use as communication strategy
for workplace.

In this Dreher explored risks and benefits of employees social media usage over a firm’s
reputation and used comprehensive literature review method with aim to present investigation
on ways firms could better administer to cope with social media challenges. The article
focuses on giving recommendations on efforts to manage employees social media usage
through applied strategic management approach. This paper is useful for my research as
author has stated that with social media, employees can function as powerful brand
ambassador of firms. The main limitation is absence of independent research that could meet
academic standards. Hence author indicates that further research should focus to assess
difference of employees social media use in different kind of firms and sectors. This article
will form basis of my research as it clearly states that social media use of employees can be
applied to extend brand reputation hence it will support my study.

Research method is based on exploratory study where data was collected from 35 semi-
structured interviews, document studies and observation. This research aimed to investigate
social media as tool for knowledge acquisition within organisation and focuses on extending
context of social media beyond collaboration at workplace to project it as tool for knowledge
acquisition. This article is useful for my research as it suggests use of social media by
employees to promote workplace learning in addition to enhanced communication. The major
limitation is study was conducted in only one organisation thus author indicates that further
research is needed to generalise finding. This article will support my research investigation
on use of social media as communication strategy.
