Introduction
With the increased globalisation, the organisations are largely dependent on the use of
information and communication technologies in varied business functions and operations.
The objective of the work is to locate a range of reliable sources in order to address the
contemporary business issue on the lines of globalisation, management and communication
that is the “Use of the social media in the communication at the workplace."

The author collected the data from a financial services firm in order to assess the
significance of social media usage by the employees in a modern organisation. The author
