INTRODUCTION
Coronary heart disease is a term which is described about hearts blood supply which is
blocked or interrupted by due to building-up of fatty substance within coronary artery. This
create difficulty in pumping of blood supply to the heart and overtime this blockage get increases
and leads to stop the blood flow and creates risk of life. This report have the discussion about
key features and risk factor of CHD. There is also the description about impact of international,
economic, environmental and political issue on diagnosis and management of coronary heart
disease. There is discussion about aetiology and access of prevalence of CHD. This report also
consist of strength and limitation of global strategy for addressing CHD. There is also reflection
about learning and understanding through this project (Malakar, 2019).
TASK 1
Key risk factors for Coronary Heart Disease, key features of CHD in terms of aetiology,
diagnosis and disease management and definitions of health would link with the various
stages in the progression of this chronic disease
Coronary heart disease is associated with the various factor and usually this create the risk to the
individual who is facing this kind of disease with coronary artery disease. Usually, the formation
of plaque is most often growing within the walls of the coronary artery until the blood flow
which is regulated through the heart muscles are become blocked or limited. This is also
generating the condition of hypoxia and called as an ischemia. Moreover, this is a chronic and
narrowing of the coronary artery overtime and the fixed some amount of supply of blood to the
part of muscles. In this, after time will they create formation of thrombus or blood clot and create
the factor of atherosclerosis in this some of the risk factors of coronary heart disease are:
High blood pressure: Blood pressure is one of the most important screening the cause
high blood pressure usually has no symptoms. This can be detected without any measurement in
the various healthcare factors but in the coronary heart disease this is well optimized that the
person faces various phases of hypertension and sometime due to the low pressure of blood can
create the risk factor of hypotension. Overall, it is analyzed that high blood pressure greatly
increase the risk of heart disease and stroke in that particular case (Guo and et. al., 2018).
High cholesterol level: This is associated with the level of cholesterol in the case of
coronary heart disease the cholesterol is usually measured and evaluated in the patient. This

create hypercholesterolemia in the body and limit the flow of essential substance and create the
consequences and the patient also related with the measurement which implies that it have a
greater contribution in the impacting of heart.
High blood sugar: High blood sugar is also a factor which is enable as a risk for the
patient who is facing the issues of coronary heart disease. In this, the diabetes leads to create
various unnecessary act and have a tendency to create consequences with that particular patients.
So, the proper medication and need a required in this case for the patient (Hamley and et. al.,
2017).
Obesity and overweight: In this, the obesity and overweight is also create impact because
in this case the increase of adipose tissue require more cholesterol and other essential substance
due to this the complications of heart is getting more pressure in order to supply the blood
throughout the body. So, this is stress on the heart create various complications and is this
condition of obesity is persisting for the longer period. Then, the chances of heart attack and
stroke are more for the patient.
Coronary heart disease is usually caused by the build-up of fatty deposits which is called
as atheroma on the walls of the coronary arteries (Le and et. al., 2018). This is around the heart
and the reflection of such kind of deposition on the irregular of the heart create a longer time of
accumulation and this lead to create some of the risk factor an association with this after the
deposition of such fat lead to create the consequences of the coronary heart disease. As per this,
it is well analysing that after the accumulation of various section of the vessel and the coronary
artery create a blockage inside the blood vessels and limit the blood flow. The accumulated part
is called as plaque and create the condition of atherosclerosis. So, the aetiology of the coronary
heart disease is very essential to understand in order to prevent this disease with some of the
changes in their regular lives.
The coronary heart disease is usually diagnosed by using the test of high blood pressure if
any individual face the longer period with the risk of high blood pressure. Then, this led to create
the situation of various complications. In this, the doctor used to analyse the blood vessels in
order to know that the vessels are obstructed with the fat or not. Moreover, the treatment of the
coronary heart disease is not appropriate there are some ways which is helpful to manage the
condition. In this, treatment involve making healthful lifestyle such as limit the alcohol use, try
to quit the smoking, also it is necessary to accept or adopter healthful diet and getting regular
