as well as successful manner. But, on the other it have some negative aspects such as sometime
diversity at the workplace lead to conflict situation because employees are belongs from different
culture, religion and so on due to which their language and work style are different. Similarly
happen in respective case, there is diversity on the basis of three generations i.e. baby boomer,
generation X and generation Y (Tasic, Tantri and Amir, 2019). All three generations are
bifurcated on the basis of age group and their perception. It is so because different age group
people have different perception and working style such as baby boomer are not technology
friendly, generation X people not believe on the leadership of company whereas generation Y
people are highly technology friendly and social media (Upham, Bögel and Johansen, 2019).
This show that diversity have both negative as well as positive aspect, so it is essential for a
company to understand each and every aspect of diversity before implement it so that they can
develop effective strategies accordingly.
CONCLUSION
By analyzing above discussed point it can be summarized that understanding of social
psychology is essential because through it a person can understand others perspective as well as
expectation. In respect of organizational behavior it is also necessary for them to understand their
culture and social psychology because through that they can develop strategies as well as plans
in effective manner. According to social psychology there are main three generations at the
workplace i.e. baby boomers, generation X and generation y, in respect of this management need
to understand their perspective as well as skill level because it help in decision making process.
In addition to this, different generations have different ranked related to skills, abilities and
knowledge according to which management need to developed strategies as well as plan
accordingly.
