1. Functional Requirements
The functional requirements that are related with the Coles indicates all the
work that the new information system should perform for the organization.
 The system will be able to take input of the customer names and customer
details for storing the details of the customer in the Coles database.
 The system will provide the customer with auto generated CIN number so
that the customer have some specific identification by which they can be
identified [7].
 The system will calculate the total purchased value against the CIN number
generated automatically.
 The system evaluates the number and has the capability to calculate the
highest purchase value among all the CIN stored in the database.
 The system also has the functionality to show the CIN numbers who have
purchase value more than $1000.
2. Non-Functional Requirements
The functional requirements that are related with the Coles indicates all the
work that the new information system should perform for the organization.
 The interface of the system should have an interface that will take the input
of customer through a designed interface and the interface should be user
friendly.
 The system of the Coles supermarket should have the capability to support
many users at a same time [5].

 The information system of the Coles supermarket should be secured enough
so that the data of the customers are kept safe.
 Availability of the system should be present so that the system can be used
at all the time.
