Srilanka is a tourist destination but terrorist attacked on luxury hotel. Managers of hotel has aim to promote resort and recover situation of hotels as earlier through communication. This poster will be cover barriers to communication, strategies to overcome and cultural awareness.INTRODUCTION BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONThe following are the different strategies that can be used by HiltonHotels in order to overcome the communication barriers in Srilanka- Eliminating the difference in perception- Hilton Hotels has planned toset up a new beach resort in Srilanka. In order to initiate these themanagement of the Hotel has to change the perception in the minds ofpeople regarding the threat and security from terrorist’s attacks. This willbe done by ensuring the proper security measures availability at the resort,including the proper scanning and data collection of the people which willgain a positive perception regarding the resort by people. Proper Media Selection- Media is the current best medium ofcommunication with the people. Hilton Hotels need to address and use thesupport of media to ensure the safety measures initiated by the Hotel at theresort. This will create a positive look of the people for the new resort.
