RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research Philosophy – This can be explained as beliefs and research principles which
are used to collect the information and data in relation to particular topic. This is important for
researcher to select the best philosophy while researching the specific task. This involves
positivism and interpretivism that shows the phenomena in natural environment. The positivism
is related to reality and variation between variable. The interpretivism is related to subjective
interpretation of and intervention in reality that can help to managing the all functions. The
researcher will use the positivism philosophy as it will help to focus on single topic such as
motivation schemes and develop the activities.
Research Approach – This can be explained as relevancy of study that focuses on
hypotheses to the study and managing the all tests in relation to validity of assumptions. This
states how data in relation to particular topic which can help to developing the research
effectively. This covers deductive, inductive and abdicative approaches. The deductive approach
is used to tests the validity of assumptions whereas, inductive approach contributes to new
theories and generalizations. Abductive approach starts with puzzle and surprising facts is using
to devoted their explanation. In relation to current research motivation schemes that used to
attract and retain employees deductive approach will use by researcher that can help to analysis
the data properly (Moodley, and Hove, 2018).
Strategy – This can be determined as planning and strategy which is used by an
individual for the purpose of getting the positive outcomes. In other words, strategy is the step by
step action plan that give direction to their thoughts. This involves experiment, case study,
ethnography, action research and survey which is used to developing the activities. In relation to
talent management and motivation, researcher will use the survey strategy which can help to
gathering the information and manage the performance.
Time Horizon – For each individual and group of people who are involved in particular
topic is require to complete their task in specified time period. This is kind of planning horizon

to decide the time period for particular project and make efforts to complete the task. This
involves longitudinal and cross sectional horizon which is based on study of phenomenon and
vary to population. The researcher has decided to use cross sectional that will focus on
population which is analysed from onetime data (Jensen, and Bro, 2018).
Data collection and analysis – Data collection is the scale and measurement tool which
is used by an individual to collect the data and arranging it properly. This is important for each
and every individual to conduct proper analysis and managing the functions. The basis of data
collection technique is qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative technique state the
information in relation to topic but not to explain numerical and statistical data. On the other
side, quantitative data showing the graphs, statistical representation and others which can help to
developing the all activities. It has justified that researcher will use quantitative data that will
help to develop the all functions and activities effectively by managing all resources and data
(Riaz, Jamal, and Latif, 2019).
Sampling – This methodology is related to predetermine the number of observation that
is taken from large population. Sampling is the continuous process of determining the accuracy
and completeness of data which is provided by an individual for the purpose of developing the
business activities. The current research is about impacts of motivation schemes that used by
Aston Martin for the purpose of developing their business performance. This involves two
methods randomly, and probability methodology which is used by researcher to develop the
activities and managing all functions. In relation to current research, random sampling method is
used by researcher that can help to receive positive outcomes. The number of population in
relation to current research is 50 who works in the organization and share their experience
(Sonnenstuhl, and Trice 2018).
