Summary statistics of the dataIn the first section the descriptive statistics of the variables included in the data has been shown. The descriptive statistics results includes mean standard deviation, variance , Skewness and Kurtosis. Apart from that the results for the different percentile and the smallest and largest values in different percentile has also been shown. In this case the average leverage ratio is 2.32 with standard deviation of 17.61. The highvalues of standard deviation suggest high variation in the data set. Similarly the values ofSkewness and Kurtosis are 17.94 and 412.83 respectively. Similarly the smallest value ofleverage is 0 and the largest value being 527 the leverage of 0 is for the private firms who do nothave debt or equity in their capital structure and rely on other sources to raise capital. On theother hand the leverage of 527 shows that the company is dependent on debt only and theproportion of equity are very low. This indicates poor financial health of the company.
