Aim and Content
The campaign on obesity will be targeting
teenagers who have or are on the verge of
becoming obese. Overweight teenagers will also
be targeted through this campaign.
Aim
To make teenagers recognize the importance of a
healthy weight and a healthy body and inculcate
good food and lifestyle habits in them
Content
The content of the campaign will comprise of
eight sessions based on education of health food
and lifestyle habits.

Rationale and Focus
National guidelines
As per the NICE Guidelines:
BMI 18.5 kg/m2 to 24.9 kg/m2
corresponds to Healthy weight
BMI 25 kg/m2 to 29.9 kg/m2 corresponds
to being Overweight
BMI 30 kg/m2 to 34.9 kg/m2 corresponds
to Obesity I
BMI 35 kg/m2 to 39.9 kg/m2 corresponds
to Obesity II
BMI 40 kg/m2 or more. corresponds to
Obesity III
