The current era and business environment is mainly based on the global forces that are highly powerful in nature. The rise of different emerging economies have been able to influence the spread of the digital technologies in a rapid way. The growth has been depicted in the challenges related to increase in levels of globalization in various countries (Salvador & Benghozi, 2017). The social contracts have an impact on the economy, society and the business organization as well. The global trends are able to offer new opportunities to different sectors, countries and companies as well. The global disruptions are taken into consideration by policy makers, business leaders and the different individuals in order to enhance the organizational processes (Corwin, 2018). The concept of global disruption can be understood in an effective manner with the help of different examples that had a major impact on their respective industries. The example of Netflix can be taken into consideration for the purpose of understanding the proper impact of global disruption. Netflix mainly operates in the online video streaming industry and the organization has been able to disrupt the entertainment industry in a huge manner. Skype can also be considered as a major global disruptor in its respective industry that has been able to provide a new means of communication to the individuals in different parts of the world (Scott, Loonam & Kumar, 2017). Wikipedia can also considered as a major disruptor that has changed the concept of encyclopedia that had been written for the purpose of providing information to the users related to different subjects and topics. The electric vehicles of Tesla Motors have proved to be a major source of disruption in the automobile industry. The organization has been able to change the demands and needs of products or cars in the industry (Välikangas, 2018). Critical analysis of a global disruptor and establishing the sources The business organizations are disrupted by implementation of innovative technologies in a more frequent and huge manner. Innovative technologies have been able to impact the jobs of employees of the firms and the consumers as well. The new age based technologies have been able to play a major role in implementing changes in the daily lives of consumers in different parts of the world. Smartphones and social media are considered to be major factors that have been able to influence various areas and sectors of business. Innovation and disruption are considered to be two major separate areas and disruption is able to play a major role in preventing the process and activities of the organization as well (Alam, Gupta & Zameni, 2019). Uber is considered to be a major organization in the taxi industry which is able to bring disruptive changes and has also formed an innovative business model. Uberisation is considered to be a term that has been derived from the name of the company Uber which is able to describe the business organizations which implement similar business models (Väyrynen, Lanamäki & Lindman, 2018).

The on-demand market can be defined as the sector in which the demands of consumers can be met by providing the products or services immediately. The exponential growth of the on-demand market has been able to influence the services that are provided by the organizations to consumers. The demands of consumers are met at a faster rates with the help of different services that are provided by the organizations that are a part of the taxi industry. The customer services have been improved in a huge manner by the implementation of cashless billing system (Walji & Walji, 2016). Uber is currently present in the western world and different areas or countries in the world. Uber has also been able to gain a huge presence in the U.A.E. in spite of the strong competition that is faced by a local organization named Careem. The process of digitalizing services can influence the different industries and an organization like Uber has been able to change the operations of organizations in the taxi industry. The digital technologies are able to play a major role in changing the demands for the services that are offered by an organization like Uber to the consumers in different parts of the world. Uber has been able to bring major levels of disruption in the taxi industry and the competition in the industry has also been influenced by the services of the firm (Yıldızgöz & Çelik, 2018).
