This company operates 4000 vehicles with annual revenue of£900 million. It is a private hire operator(Arvidsson, Holmström and Lyytinen, 2014.). With the car services, they also provide some different new services like private coach company, couriers, airport transfers etc. This company carries out 20,000 jobs every day. Addison Lee relies on information technology and Addison Lee mainly focusses on the new techniques and creative ideas. It is the most prime given company in London. Apart from that, information technology helps company to manage large numbers of drivers. Like, they track their drivers through GPS tracking and text messaging. Overall, company invest£1.5 million on new advanced technologies with 24 employing programmers. Information technology is the most important element in the cited company to take its function further. Addison Lee got many awards and prices like the Best Large Private Sector Fleet Hero Awards 2011. It is the member of Mayor Of London Boris Johnson who is an elected politician(Bilbao-Osorio, Dutta and Lanvin, 2013). Product and services of Addison Lee Addison Lee is famous for its prime quality of services. Its first service is to provide cabs and cars for the customers.. Customer need cab to go from one place to another, they follow the same pattern. It gives high quality of luxurious facilities with the cab. Luxury vehicles means better quality of journey. In this cab services, they provide some complimentary benefits like. 98% of the time its pickup time was 10 minutes. Other offers include booking the cab three months in advance and payment may be in cash or through cards with up to 30% cheaper than other 1
taxis(Cassidy, 2016). Along with that, they provide some other benefits like 4G, Wi-Fi and mobile charger, none of the car is old, the best security modes, climate control and tinted windows. They also give bikes home with you. Furthermore, it also provides Executive services in this section as it gives more prime services with experienced drivers and some more other benefits such as Mercedes E and S classes well equipped cars this cabs booked very quick and fact other than anyone. The best part of this company is that they connect their customers as fact they can. The focus of this company is to give its services on global level. Addison Lee is the leading global operations on three continents(Dahlstrom, Walker and Dziuban,2013). It provides its services across London, New York and Hong Kong.Along with that, another quality of the company is simple booking process; in this process, customers book their cars online through advanced technology based apps or from websites or on the phones. These services are available for 24/7. In addition, company provides feedback services or query services by the customers. Customer gets first class experience with the company services by getting standard cars available on demands, pre-booked services etc. Furthermore, another service of the company is airport transfers. They provide guide for their travellers and give information of the best hotels, restaurants, bars-pubs etc. In this type of service, customers get bookings in three months advance. They never feels uncomfort and unnecessary hassle to their customers(Galliers and Leidner, ed.s 2014). Besides, its next service is Coach Hire; in this, they provide coaches to their clients. Along with that, they provide many more services and safety precautions for their customers. Addison Lee company operates its business online and through websites. They contact their drivers through phones and through tracking. Top level of the company takes all decision regarding new plans plus operation department would take care of technologies upgradation. HR department take care of employee’s performance and their working performance. IT department take care of technologies, websites growth, online feedbacks etc. Thus, this is the structure which helps in accomplishing the overall target of the company. 2. Operation Functionality (a) Current process:Addison Lee operates its business through online. Their revenue is earned by online services. The main objective of the company is to attract customers by giving them the best luxurious prime cab services. (c) Issues that new system will fix:In the company, there will be a new system has to be done like new customer services and advanced technology to attract more new customers. This will help the cited company to sustain in the market. According to the scenario, the company has issues with the new drivers, that they are not professional, fixed and perfect according to the standards of the company. To minimise those effects, company need to adopt some training and development sessions for their employees because customer service is the first goal of the company to give them quality of experienced company has to make efforts for that. Like, they also organise some personality development sessions and training workshops about how to deal with customers, So that new system will fix the issue of the company. Apart from that, another issue of the company is lack of perfect network. For that, company adopt such technique through which customer can get easy access on internet. It gives new strategic plans to the company growth. This depends on the company how they will use to promote their services and attract customers. It makes better communication between customers with the company. There are some factors in which IT plays very vital role. Communication Communication is the foremost channel which connects people to people and through IT advanced techniques, now people can easily connect with each other. In terms of the company, they will connect with their clients through Email or through online. However, Email is the best source to pass the information(Pearlson, Saunders and Galletta, 2016). It helps to connect with customers, suppliers and employees. Along with that, it is less expensive and more effective way. It helps company to share their plans with the clients to achieve strategic planning. Furthermore, while implementing the planning manager needs to control the unwanted activities to minimize the uncertainties. It helps to make more profit and customer satisfaction approach. According to my reference Addison lee is the leading car operator company, so to maintain its position in the market it needs to adopt some more technologies and plans to provide some advanced services to their customers. It helps company to attract more customers and their satisfaction level. CONCLUSION From the above discussion it was concluded that strategic information is very important to maintain the company system systematically.This strategic information helps company to make new effective plans for making more profit revenues.
