STRESS MANAGEMENT PLAN 2 2 PART 1 1. What immediate actions can you take to reduce the stress? The immediate action I will take is to deal with all office activities that need urgent attention. The first thing I should do immediately is to contact other colleagues in the service section to enquire about the information updates. Since the information will be so important in provision of the guidelines to the clients, I will need to call colleagues to provide information immediately. This will give me at least a hint of what I can do in case I get the client who needs information regarding the organization. I think it will be a big mess if the client gets into my office and find me clueless. So, the first thing to do in order to reduce the stress will be inquiring about the delay of the information from the other services sectors. After inquiring of the information from other sections I will start finalizing on client report which was left unfinished yesterday. If there a lot of data to be entered in preparation of the reports, I will call upon my deputy or any colleague within my department for help. If I get a colleague for help, I will allow him or her work on noncritical sections of the report. I think it will be so important to deal with issues concerning the clients because they are the most important ones. In case I get any assistance to help me prepare the report, I will open up the clients' request and send a response message. If the reply to clients request requires a lot of time, I will immediately send a notification that the reply will be sent within a certain period of time. I will make sure that I reply the clients request in less than 24 hours. I will prepare for the meeting because that is another activity that cannot be excused. In order to avoid the same issues from occurring in the future, I will come up with some strategies to solve this. The fact that baby carrier was the main causative of my late arrival in job, I will consider taking my child to daycare or make sure that the baby carrier stays in my home. I think this will be a breakthrough because the issue of coming for a baby late will be solved. I will have to offer accommodation for her so as to make his work effective. Moreover, I will have to employ some assistance to help me in office tasks to avoid stress. For instance, I will have to employ someone who will be monitoring the clients’ requests and reply accordingly.It is my belief that this will a better way to save time in responding to the clients.I will make sure enough information is provided to whoever will be managing my platform for communication with the clients.
