2STUDENT ENROLMENT SYSTEM Justification for System: Information systems are consisted of electronic devices to access the system and database to store the data collected from various devices. The proposed enrolment system will offer the opportunitytoconvertthemanualpaperbasedworksintotechnologydrivenautomated processes. The system will be covering entire enrolment system along with the course/program management. The management can easily see the progress of works through the system. The system will reduce the operational cost by making the back office processes automatic. This means that teachers and other staff does not have to involve in handling paper works for completing an enrolment. The management can see the enrolment reports based on semesters by just selecting the semester and year in the report section. BusinessCaseDescriptionandBusinessBenefitsfromSystem Implementation: The SPCB wants current information regarding the enrolment, student, courses and program. The organization offers various courses that are available under various programs to the potential student. The organization gathers student information such as name, address, contact, email and many more. It is assumed that organization facing a fraud related issues. One student can apply for multiple courses for a single semester and gets admission to the course he gets selected. This is resulting in reducing the number of potential students as organization offer limited sits for enrolment. The information system will provide various advantages to SPCB. The biggest is the fraud elimination. As the system will be tracking all the enrolment requests, the system will automaticallydetectifasinglestudentisapplyingformultiplecourses.Moreover,the

This will result in accurate data acceptance and reports quality will automatically enhance. The system will also provide significant assistance to decision making. Project Scope and Cost and Schedule Analysis: The primary scope of the project is covering all the aspects of the enrolment process and making it as automatic as possible. The second scope is validation of forms. Third scope is implementing a centralized database management system. Fourth scope is implementing a remote website.
