1.0 INTRODUCTION
With the rise of digitalisation, it is of utmost importance that entrepreneurs make full use of
innovative digital tools. Figures and data have shown that enterprises which have adopted this
digitalised world have achieved stronger growth or are more successful than those that do not
innovate.
Web presence in its simplest form can be defined as any person or business who wants to
create a strong image or brand by being present on any online platform using the world wide
web. There are various examples of web presence, common examples of web presence are
personal website, corporate website, Emails, social media platform like Facebook, LinkedIn,
skype etc.
Inappropriate communication channel and a weak presence on the online network will result
in poor web presence. For example, if the woman entrepreneur wants to have a strong impact
on the web but they do not have the right communication channel such as their own website
or a social medial account or any other online platform where they can get engaged with
customers, it will be impossible for them to have a strong web presence. A web presence will
be effective and successful only if both parties (Buyer and Customer) interact with each
other. You therefore need to engage and interact with your customers to maintain a strong
online presence on any online platform you use.
