The automation has gained heights in the industries by replacing manual repetition,
followed by mechanization. The factory workers or the people in industries were performing
similar work over and over again using physical strength with no or very minimum tools. In the
current scenario, machines/systems or devices have successfully taken the place of human
repetitive activities and they are performing them intelligently with or without human
supervision or intervention. Before automation, mechanization was there wherein the work was
done by machines but under the direct supervision of humans (Shell). In the automation of
industries, auto-filling machines, intelligent conveyor system, robotic arms, etc. like systems are
used that execute all the work of any industry or factory with the negligible attention of human

If there is a comparison of humans and machines concerning the labor aspects, machines are
superior to humans. They never get tired of work, neither go on strike for wage issues, and the
chances of failure in their accuracy and regularity are minimal. With the application of
automation, there is an increase in product standards with consistent quality (Shell), decreased
labor dependencies, etc. On the other hand, humans have biological limitations and have many
imperfections when compared to machines or robots. Different concepts of the technology are
