3RESEARCH PROPOSAL1. Introduction Social electronic commerce is new subset of electronic commerce and it is involved withsocial media and online media. This study focuses on mainly on the impact of the recentemergence of social electronic commerce and its impact on business profitability. In the first partof the study, the main objective of the research project will be described. In the followingsection, scholarly articles and papers will be reviewed in the literature review section.
