Problem statement
The individuals with high level of emotional intelligence can build strong
interpersonal relationships and better equipped to lead the individuals effectively. The
emotional intelligence is a role to influence administration and academic leadership in higher
education. In today’s time, it is seen that the educational institutions have faced various
problems which are being addressed in the study. The educational institutions are being
adapted to make various changes as well as developments occurred on quickly basis. Al-
Tarawneh, Battah, and Al-Tarawneh (2018) mentioned that the efficiency of instructive
system focuses on competence of school management. It is due to the fact that the school
administration is controlling the educational processes. This study is based on analyzing
emotional intelligence in addition its relationship with the administrative department of
higher education.
Serrat (2017) suggested that a successful organization should able to adopt modern
management tools and procedures. It is to be done to extent the maximum level of the
administrative imagination. Adoption of old fashioned management method should obstruct
management from viewing its creativity. In regards to all this, the organization adopts
modern methods and tools like the emotional intelligence. It is also analyzing the
participation of the administrative department to raise effectiveness as well as the efficiency
of the performance of employees. Petride et al., (2016) mentioned that the leaders are not
identifying performance of the employees by replying on academic qualifications as well as

mental abilities of people. It relies on emotional intelligence skills such as embracing of
educational changes, persistence as well as self-motivation.
Purpose statement
The purpose of this research study is to understand the impact of the emotional
intelligence besides its relationship with administrative department in higher education. There
is also analyzing of the emotional intelligence on attributes of the management in the
organizational department. The present study explores the relationship of the emotional
intelligence as well as administrative creativity. The academic leaders are having main role
with administrative domains. The individuals of the university are required to manage critical
situations through proper planning as well as controlling of the project work. They are
required to respond to various stakeholders in as well as outside of the institutions (Gilar-
Corbi et al., 2018). The individuals those are in the position of the academic leadership are
benefited from learning on the part of the emotional intelligence for organizational success.
The future study of this research work will be based on including development of the
conceptual model linked with the emotional intelligence as well as administrative leadership
work. The hypothesis are also developed as well as tested to see relationship of two variables
such as emotional intelligence as well as managerial conducts of the organisation. According
to Attride-Stirling (2001), in order to assess to the qualitative data, the thematic approach is
to be used. It is used in this study for a purpose to draw on the core features which are
collective methods in qualitative data analysis. This thematic analysis aims to explore an
understanding of the issue and the significance of the investigation idea. The main purpose of
this exploration study is to gather data based on the topic by performing a mixed research
approach.
