SCM is the management in the organization deals with the movement and storage of the RM,
WIP and FG of the company. It does not involve only goods movement but also involve money
and equipment movements. The purpose behind managing the supply chain in the business is
to provide the goods and services to the customers on time and take competitive advantage in
the market (Smith and Sparks, 2019). For example; Tesco company always look that the order
for raw material take place on time, inventory reaches the warehouse on time, there is no
shortage of stock on warehouse. And they also make it possible that processes to convert stock
into finished goods take place on time and goods and services is timely reach to the customers.
The company also make sure that there is no excess inventory in the warehouse which causes
the increase in inventory cost. SCM involves the inventory, logistics and warehouse
