INTRODUCTIONEvery business, regardless to sector, is based on the principle of providing the servicesand meeting the demands by the means of supply chain management. The supply chainmanagement can be described as the practice of storing and providing the goods as per the needsof customers or buyers. The present assessment is presented in regard to Jack foods located inNetherlands and operates in food industry.The assessment will focus upon the development of a warehouse for the firm andcarrying out the supply chain to meet the operational requirements of the organisation. Also,various consideration that are been taken within the firm will be analysed with the properanalysis of different factors that are looked after while deciding a good strategy and policy thatimpacts the overall execution of business operations of the organisation. For an organisation like Jack Food, operating in the food sector, supplying the best of thegoods and services will help in the proper assessment of the different elements that will play avery important part in the execution of the supply chain of the organisation (Richter and Walther,2016). The factors like warehousing and transportation of goods are the few effective measuresthat are been carried out by the selected food based industry that will help in meeting the needsand demands of the organisation. Besides this, setting up a warehouse and transportation of theproducts in the Limberg province of Ntetherlands is very vital for the carrying out of the supplychain operations and meeting buyers or stakeholders needs in the area (Ptak and Schragenheim,2016). The major purpose of this operation is that it will help in proper assessment of thebusiness operations and hence, will lead the firm to effectively meet its operational requirements.Looking at this, Jack Food can opt for effective setting up of a warehouse in Netherlands in orderto meet requirements of its customer within the country.Warehousing can be termed as, “an effective process of storing and preserving thetangible goods in order to utilize them when required to be supplied to a customer”. This willhelp in keeping the effective planning of suitable operations and thus, will lead the firm to meettheir customer's requirements and operations. A warehouse is a structure built to store and holdthe products or goods as well as the raw materials in case of requirement. This includes theracking system that is been followed within the warehouse to systematically arrange the goodsand other equipment's within a store house. It can be manual, digital or hybrid combination ofboth, that helps the form to find and place the products in a sequential order and improve thenomenclature and setting up of operations within the firm. Designing a warehouse in Limberg province of Netherlands Number of employees required: The number of employees required to run and maintain a warehouse is significantlybased on the size and scale of warehouse that will help in proper planning of the storageoperations. In the present scenario, about 200 employees will be enough to maintain theeffectiveness of the operation to carry out the operations in much effective way. Themanagement of the organisation can opt for recruiting the local people that will help in reducingthe labor cost and help organisation to get the work force on a negotiable and minimal level.
